I don't remember using metric in biology, or at least I don't remember needing to learn it.

I have no idea how much I weigh but it was hovering around 170 lbs last time I checked.

The one year of biology courses I took in college all used the metric system. I'm pretty sure I had to use it in high school science classes, too, now that I think about it.
