    Who stores porn nowadays?

    Wallpapers, around 300mb ^^

Also, bolignet aarhus aka. the guys who thought 53/53mbit internet was 16/1mbit, closed my internet down.

I emailed the company a few days ago telling them that my internet was too slow & wasn't getting the speeds advertised, they took that as "I don't want you as my ISP anymore, I'd like to cancel out/revoke my internet."

So yeah, no net on my college till monday, wasted 4 hours on train/bus

you don't know what a rabbit is?

    on the topic of blizzard:

what was stolen was emails (expect more phishing)
and encrypted password hashes, <this part i like

blizzard said there is really nothing to worry about, but they, like any company in this situation, are not telling the whole truth:

while it is true that hashing is one way encryption and your password cannot be derived from it directly, hackers do not think like normal people (this is why 90% of security professionals need to be removed from their jobs) if i had that hash list, the first thing i would do is break the encryption, sounds hard, or might take a long time even with dual 690s? not really, as long as i know the encryption standard (which blizzard was kind enough to provide) i can simply rent out power from a cloud supercomputing service, i may only have 11 TFLOPS on my desktop, but i can rent more, a lot more

once i have the raw hash list, its a matter of decrypting the hash (which i've been told by many is impossible, except i've done it a few times) this is done by simply generating a brute force hash, basically i generate hashes in sequential order starting at the minimum password security level, and cross reference the generated ones with the acquired list, every-time i get a match, i add it to a dictionary, eventually over time i may be able to backwards crack ~90% of the passwords that were stolen, giving me a ~90% chance to crack non-authenticated accounts with a simple dictionary attack, this is assuming that usernames are not associated with the hashes in the list, if they are, i then have the usernames and passwords of ~90% of north american players

while this may seem easy, it's not, a lone bored hacker did not pull off the security breach, Blizzard is known for having very strong security, so more than likely this was a sponsored attack, meaning that there is money behind it, and that means the time needed to decrypt everything may be even shorter, perhaps only a few months to get to the 90% mark

    so yes, change your password

If I was a hacker, I'd hack a bank, get all the account info, and charge everyone with a small amount of money, and in the description, I'd put something like: "Yearly administrative fee" and charge like 1 dollar... Who the hell would doubt that?

I'm a mastermind! Nobody steal my idea! Cyan, you up for it breh?

Most hackers avoid stealing money, it's the difference between a slap on the wrist when you get caught, and 25 years in jail, however, there is something up, a few months ago i read an article about how companies are tired of dealing with a faulty system for tracking and arresting hackers, and are ready to start taking things into their own hands, and recently there has been massive DDoS attacks against both piratebay and demonoid, (hackers are generally pro piracy) so it wouldnt surprise me if companies have decided to ignore laws and are hiring hackers to do their dirty work for them

found a blog that is more in depth and better written than what i said on why you need to change your password

What's up with the link you got there in the sig, inux? (Or rather, what's the relation between contents of link and the sentence that forms the hyperlink.)

Don't really understand the link between the comment and the content either. Jealousy perhaps?

Rough translation of my answer: (google translate, way too tired to translate it myself XD)

You can not see any difference between 500 FPS & 999 FPS, no.

Everything that with that you can only see 30-60 FPS is a lie, but you can not tell the difference from 120 FPS & 600, unless that has come some 600Hz displays on the market that I have not seen.

And no, those 600Hz TV screens do not apply because it's fake 600hz.
    Then a guy comes "I'VE GOT A I5-3570K & GTX 680, I SHOULD BE GETTING 5000 FPS"
That forum is seriously a massive trollfest.
