I like my Smuggler the best so far, but the premise of Sith Warrior seems neat.

    Smuggler was easily my favourite.

I would choose Sith Warrior of the 4 storylines I've completed. Unlike the others, the finale actually had enough background that you cared who the villain was. The Warrior storyline also was one of the few that actually didn't completely change every chapter, so it had some continuity to it. It has some predictable twists and turns, but was an enjoyable story and experience.

As an honorable mention I would say Jedi Knight. It was pretty stereotyped and boring for the most part (every planet was a new Doomsday device, so I just imagined someone raided Dr. Farnsworth's Doomsday collection). But JK really kicked it into hyperdrive on Corellia (by tieing back in to your previous decisions), and for their finale (which was the hardest solo fight I've had in an MMO). If the rest of the story had been as bad ass as the last 5%, then JK would get my vote for sure.

Bounty Hunter thus far gets my vote for worst story. Mine is mid-30's and it is absolutely boring as hell. I can't even bring myself to at least finish Chapter 2 for the Legacy-wide buff.

I just finished chapter 2 on mine(level 40), and I really, really had to struggle to get through it(I did it for the buff unlock tbh). Didn't find chapter 1 or 2 outstanding at all, and dunno if I'll even finish chapter 3. Still better than the horribly boring trooper, but certainly not my favorite...

I didn't vote as I don't think it is fair to give a vote since my main is a sith warrior 36 level...I also have around 30 level Jedi Knight, Consular..
So far consular felt lot of boring, I don't know what happens in the next chapters. Jedi Knight is awesome but I enjoy more the Sith, not because it has better story, but it has an abundant amount of cinematics that you kill staff and torture people:P

Also Vette and Dark Jaessa are epic...I enjoyed every moment played with Vette and I was laughing a lot every time she said their funny things...Now I have her on 10.000 affection and play with Jaessa to also get her high enough.
The trick of selling a FFA-PvP MMO is creating the illusion among gankers that they are respectable fighters while protecting them from respectable fights, as their less skilled half would be massacred and quit instead of “HTFU” as they claim.

Personally, I did enjoy the Jedi Sage story. But only because thats the only class I've gotten up to 50

Well I'm still early on, like DK early, but the Sith Warrior story was more impressive, so far. At this point I was already killing Darths, bedding their wives, and making Vette watch.
    Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

I'm in chapter 3 and I haven't found it impressive either. It totally lacks immersion(I understand they can't change world quests for 1 class, but when I'm a "republic operative" you think they might catch on to my being a double agent what with me killing hundreds of republic troops, destroying numerous republic ships and weapons, aiding imperials with many many missions, etc), the chapter 1 "twist" I saw coming miles away, the chapter 2 end fight was immensely anti-climactic, the chap 3 villain is dull...I'm having a real hard time forcing myself to even finish it. Better than the terribly boring trooper story, but I'll take the Sith warrior story over it any day, I found the inquisitor story more interesting, and even the BH story has kept me hooked better than the agent one has.

I only played Trooper till 20ish and my Sith Warrior is 40, I have yet to experience most of the game, Trooper I found pretty boring so far, but that might have to do with the story being nothing more then average and my dislike for the class so far (Gunshots with a casttime, really?). The warrior totally nails my playstyle (I love Fury warriors in WoW) and the story really grabbed me, although it does become a bit repetitive playing darkside all the way it has alot more potential then the Trooper one.

I only have F2P, so I'm missing out on a bunch of story, and I haven't played IA yet, but I've gotten to lvl 15 on all the others. Some stories/companions/interactions are definitely more fun than others. Also, I make up characters, and use that for their motivation (they are Republic loyal, or they always side with women... etc). That changes the enjoyment a lot.

The one I just finished was Trooper. Here's why I don't like it, it feels like it's based on the show 24. "There's a bomb, you have to stop it before people are killed!" The difference is, 24 pushed for that "rush," time was of the essence. In an MMO it's like "There's a bomb, hurry... but do these side quests first, get back to me when you have a chance." I think that takes away from the story. Also it seems a lot of "the people you think you can trust will betray you... over and over..." I was wondering if this gets any more interesting after lvl 15.

The other one I had a problem with was the Smuggler. The main motivation was to get your ship back. So when you get it back at level 15, why do you have to continue to chase the guy down? I could totally see giving up on the story at that point. "Got it, thanks, y'all can take it from here." I mean, from a game mechanic you won't, but unless you REALLY want personal vegence, there's no real reason not to just fly off to a safer place and find work. I don't know, maybe just me.

Thank you zomgname for the signature and avatar!

Storywise I think IA is probably one of the best, but only because most of them kiiinda suck. Maybe this is me being snobbish because I read a lot, but as far as stories go, many of them are pretty awkward and heavy handed. Even people who have never read a book in their life can see the craziness of the JK storyline with ''QUICK A DOOMSDAY WEAPON, GO STOP OH SHIT NO THERES ANOTHER WMD MUST DESTROY FUCK WHERE DO ALL THESE GODDAMN MACHINES COME FROM AND WHY HASNT SOMEONE GOTTEN AROUND TO USING ONE YET''.

But that said some of the companions for the IA are great. (Note, minor companion and story spoilers below) Kaliyo is just really fun, fairly neutral and an obliquely bisexual anarchist. Vector Hyllus is just awesome. Totally awesome in every way, absolutely loved the bloke and was sorely dissapointed we didn't get more companion story just for him. Doctor Lokin isn't quite as awesome as either of the last two but he is still very interesting and a great deal of fun, but after that it kinda peters out, with Temple being kinda boring (until you get into the whole love triangle buisiness which is pretty funny) and Scorpio is just eeehhhhhh. She was like, totally insanely freakishly INTENSELY amazing (I spent every interaction thinking ''WHY DID BIOWARE BRING GLADOS INTO SWTOR'') until you actually meet her and then she kinda loses her awesomeness. I mean, robo-tits? Really? It's hard to find something menacing when you can't get over how ridiculous it looks. It would be like is Darth Vader just has pink bunny rabbit ears flopping around on top of his helmet, and giant red nipples on his chest.

So awesome first three companions and kinda lacklustre last two, but the first couple make it worth it. Good story too.

    Just a few things
corusant : The weapon was charging.
Taris: You find out why they haven't used the weapons. They just found the weapons recently via the son at coursant and they needed help from the doctor to make the ultimate weapon.
Narshadaa : They weren't wmd's but they sure as heck were being used. (and show up throughout the JK chapter 1-3)
Tatoonie : The weapon was actively destroying the planet.
Alderaan : You saw it in action several times.
End of chapter 1 : I always wondered what would happen if you put earth in a microwave.

While I agree with you somewhat, your glossing over a bit too much.

I really don't understand why such hate on the Trooper story, Troopers are ment to be stalwart guardians of the Republic, you aren't ment to go around flirting with opposite genders and do whatever you please, you take orders from your CO and you do what they say
    End rant

For stories, i've played all Republic class stories and am currently in the SW story, and here would be my recommendation for a Republic story fitting to you
Do you want an experience that feels like KOTOR 3? - Choose Jedi Knight
Do you want to be a model jedi? - Choose Jedi Consular
Do you want to feel like a badass and fight for the Republic? - Choose Trooper
Do you want a fun-loving story that keeps you on the edge of your seat always? - Choose Smuggler

As for the SW story, i can't really seem to get excited all that much about it... Imp Agent story from what i've heard is rather predictable, SI story i haven't heard much of beside Act 1, and BH only really seems to come alive during Act 2.

Overall, storywise, i'd have to say the storys would go in this order for me

    1. Smuggler
    2. Trooper
    3. Jedi Knight
    4. Sith Warrior
    5. Jedi Consular

Fair enough, my Consular went more for a Kreia personality, so it can go either really monotone nice jedi, or mind twisting jedi

For me it's because the end of the story was just a huge let down. I thought they were building to something big and epic and the end turned out to be very "oh well that was predictable" for me. Sadly that ruined how i view a lot of the story in retrospect even though there were many points before the end where I was really happy with the story.

Different poster, but what was wrong with chapter 3 to you? I didn't like the very very end, but it didnt surprise me with republic politics and the greater good and all that. I do kind of wish I had gone dark side, but this was my 2nd 50 and my sith was dark so I went full light.
