Well, just wanted to reiterate my congratulations to those of you who get to play the game tonight (Ye lucky bastards >_>) have fun and don't forget to post pictures!
Now, I just had a question while I was making my dinner. How is aggro handled on this game? I mean, if there are no tanks, how do the mobs choose who to attack? do they attack whoever is closest? whoever deals more damage? its completely random?

Most normal mobs attack nearest person...but not always. They can attack the one who they perceive as the biggest threat..i.e. the guy casting big in the back. Originally Posted by Derah
Bosses will often have unique aggro mechanics and go after all manner of different things.

Just saying, for those who don't have access to their old email accounts from GW1, can still link it to their Gw2 account on the main page now. Just enter in email/password, and you're good to go. (Haven't gone through the last few pages of this thread, so sorry if it's already been said).

If plans are being made to play for any extended period of time tonight/day (as I no doubt probably will be); couple things to keep in mind. Water, keep a bottle of water at hand. Take extended breaks; by which I mean, if you go for a bio or to find a snack or something, walk around a bit, do some jumping jacks, get the blood pumping a bit; stretch out a bit, especially the legs and back. Have fun and stay healthy! Talk to everyone when I awaken after passing out sometime tomorrow no doubt. LOL
