So who are you voting for?

Been reading both Republican and Democrat discussion threads and watched the first debate. I don't come from the States but I guess it's going to probably affect everyone who becomes the next U.S President in some indirect or direct way.

So, for those of you living in the States, who will you vote for?
    Cake!

Obama - I'm not voting for him as much as I'm voting against Romney.

This is because Romney's plans are centered around most tax cuts for rich individuals on the basis that they will create jobs (Newsflash: private individuals don't create jobs, businesses do), and a mess of other reasons I won't burden this thread with.

In addition, Obama has been obstructed by Congress for most of his term, so I feel the dude at least needs a shot.

I was under the impression that there were only two running candidates with a shred of hope and it's the two above.. Can add the rest if it makes you happy...

Being mostly obstructed by Congress during that time? I'd rather give him a chance with a Congress that will compromise than return to the ole GOP mantra of catering to the wealthy.

Now I'm not from the USA so I guess this will be rather irrelevant but if I were my reasoning would be about the same as Rukentuts'.

A vote for anyone besides romney or obama is not going to do the country any good. Vote Romney.

well enough third party votes would really show that the country is fed up with the current political garbage.

Same political garbage is going to occur no matter who is in office.

Your fooling yourself if you think otherwise...
