Whats wrong? My internet is fine, my password is right and when I log in it says "connecting" and it stays there. I tried restarting.

Already a thread on this, use the search function, its probably got something do with the servers restarting, just hang tight till its fixed, try to log in every 10 min or so

a server restart is different then the log in sever not doing anything.

realm status lists all realms as up, soooo...this isnt a server restart issue. Its a log in issue. GG blizz

Irrelevant to the fact that we can't log in, if it was JUST restarts, we would log in to a server list in which most/all of the servers would be greyed out

Forum says 1 hour (posted 16 hours ago) but yet ingame says 15 min.

Thread says the total process shouldn't last more than an hour; that is, the rolling restart of all realms. 15 minutes per realm. Rolling.
Anyway, the problem is that the login server is now overloaded. All realms are back up.
Let it sit at Connecting.

When the login server is actually down, you don't generally sit at Connecting. You get a more immediate response. Originally Posted by TyloBedo

It is most likely that the world server, which is not the authentication server, nor is it the realm server, is down or being rebooted.
