I seriously don't think that Anduin dies. It could very well be a "failure" to the scenerio; at least for the alliance side. If you listen earlier in the audio, Garrosh says "Go now young prince." They are just covering their bases on "complete", "during", "wipe." So possibly from the alliance side, it's "don't let Anduin get killed."
If thrall turns up to be next, I might be interested in wow lore again.
Interesting. So now we've got multiple possibilities:
*Multiple paths based on choices players make
*Anduin survives in both scenarios, with finales based on faction.
*Anduin dies in Finale 2
*Anduin dies in Horde scenario
*Anduin dies in both scenarios, but is taken to the Waters in the Vale to be revived
*Anduin's death is a wipe event
Any of those seem very plausible.

We have faced trials and danger, threats to our world and our way of life. And yet, we persevere. We are the Horde. We will not let anything break our spirits!"
Aside from the fact that most alliance players dont care for the character of the prince to begin with...it is fun because it opens up a myriad of possibilities for the future lore. Even if that lore is to resurrect him with the vale waters so he can fulfil his destiny bullshit is still lore that requires his death

Couldn't we just datamine the rest of the voices in the scenario too?
All we know is that Garrosh believes that Anduin is dead.
One character's perception does not make it true. Anduin will escape, or resurrect.
Possibly. Dezco tells the Horde Adventurer to consider Anduin to be under his personal protection, so he may play a role in healing/reviving Anduin if he survives or is killed, Hordeside, while Allyside it would likely fall to Alliance adventurers taking him to the Waters (where they meet Dezco, who reveals his moderate nature and does that whole shebang).

For his many faults, the man does know how to lay down a speech. If Thrall had kept him on as High Speechwriter, he could have laid down some pretty sick burns.
