    Xenok's Shadow Priest Raid Guide

Here's a few more topics for anyone looking to get the most out of their Shadow Priest in-raid, starting with more basic stuff and working up to more advanced stuff.

I talk about opening rotations, rotation strategies and tips, movement strategies, and more!

Enjoy. Constructive feedback is appreciated. BOOM.

    Weak Aura's exports here: http://shadow-raid.blogspot.com/2012...with-weak.html

Just cut and paste the ones you want.

Pretty good mid-level shadowpriest guide. This will be an immense help to people new to shadowpriest, and give good pointers to the average joe.

I saw your first video, and this is about a 100 times better. I agree with you that MF-glyph and B&S can compliment each other nicely - MF for the mini-movement (3-10 yards when moving out of "fire") and B&S for long runs. Something to consider that new priests might not think about is that if you're running a Disc priest in your raid, relying fully on B&S can be dangerous - might be classified as a no-brainer, but might be worth noting.

But generally a good video, and huge improvement from the last, so keep it up
"I like big pulls and i cannot lie, you other brothers cant deny, when a mob walks in, or maybe 10, all lined up for a spell, you press 2!"..

I don't think mastery can proc a second MB like you say in your video. Our mastery affects dots and MB is direct damage.

That being said, I'd be interested in those weak auras, especially the trinket/ICD ones.

Mastery can proc a second tick of SW;P which has a chance to proc DI (MB)..

Any chance of a full listing of your UI? I'm looking to replace ElvUI, simply because it doesn't track trinket ICD.

I would recommend Forte Xorcist. Tracks DoTs, Buffs and Cooldowns (including ICDs).

Decent guide, although just a quick mention: Fade's off the GCD and, while it's a 30s CD now, tanks should be able to deal with a DP -> MB opener or even pre-cast MB -> DP opener. Better for patchwerk fights. Oh, and that Mastery can't proc Mind Blast alone, can only proc it off Pain ticks and DI talent ^_^. Mastery only affects DoTs and Sear (counting Flay as a DoT).

It does not have to, just download Weak Auras, and set everything you need/want to see in there. Iirc they also have Elv/Tuk UI's skins for WAuras.

I have some individual weak aura exports here: http://shadow-raid.blogspot.com/2012...with-weak.html

If you need a different alert its not that difficult to duplicate and edit an existing alert. Just look through the tabs and see what fields are already filled in, and change them appropriately. The ICDs are tracked by a timer with an arbitrary number: the actual ICD minus the length of the proc.

Very nice guide but about the shadowfiend part. You say wait 2-3 sec before your internal cooldown is over. However your shadowfiend (and ghouls and mirror images etc) are dynamic now so there stats increase and decreas with your stats even after they are summoned or am I wrong?

C.M.S, My favorite thing to start the morning with.

Is this how it works now? I didn't think it was dynamic.

Shadow priest tranq is the most usless PoS ever. On average it is about 200k healing if used so you get 0 overheal.

I am using weakauras for that right now and I have the export for those particular orbs at my blog. There are many ways to track dots and this is just one of them. The orbs have grown on me... I've tried nugrunning and fortexorcist but I keep going back to those silly orbs. One downside to the orbs is that they only show your current target's dot status.

All pets update dynamically with stats now. Even in Cata, Shadowfiend did this with spellpower at the very least.
