And despite Rivers playing godawful, they're still winning against KC...

How people picked the Chiefs to do well this season is beyond me =/

Yeah, that's why I almost always believe anything an "anaylst" says is bullshit. They seem to just take the safe route and assume the teams with the most physical talent are going the furthest.

so the Chiefs are probably looking at the #1 QB in the draft, so they've got that going for them

I was thinking about that when they brought up the stat that the Chiefs haven't won a game in 25 years with a QB they drafted themselves.

Might want to tell that to Romeo. When I was looking at my fantasy teams last week after the game, I saw Charles only had like 5 touches so I figured he got hurt. Then Romeo came out this week and said he didn't realize he got that few touches and didn't know why that was. WTF. WTF. He then went on to say well Hillis was running well. So they just voluntarily didn't run with a top 10 NFL RB to run with Hillis and people wonder why this team is looking terrible lol.

I expected better of the Chiefs. Their defense doesn't look like the same squad as last year, at freaking all. Their running game is in shambles because their QBs are not even scraping mediocre and the coaching staff is literally so bad they don't keep track of the touches for their best RB in a close game.

Are you serious? That is hilarious. You'd think after several decades of being mediocre since Montana retired, they would have drafted someone rather than playing the free agent market for every single guy.

Oh Romeo. Just when there might be some debate as to the worst coach in the league, you go ahead and clear that right up for us.

It's not fair to blame what's going on in KC on Romeo. Sure, he's not the best coach in the league but it's not him tipping balls up directly into the air and getting picked, or like last night, tipping them right into Safeties and CB's. He's a buddy-buddy coach, which isn't always a bad thing, but he doesn't come down hard on his guys when they screw up. Also, not having control over your team ("well, I'm not sure why Charles only got the ball 5 times") is an issue.

However, that entire team - top to bottom - is underpreforming or just playing poorly. Having Eric Berry be the entire secondary of a team isn't fair either. If the rest of the defense played at 50% of the intensity and had half the heart as Berry and Hali, they wouldn't be 1-6.

Time to start over in KC and that starts with grabbing Geno in the draft.

Chan Gailey still exists so Romeo is playing for second right now.

Speaking of Mr. Gailey, according to Nix, his job is secure. I understand Nix's reasoning for not firing him, but if we finish 6-10 again changes should be made.

You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.

I hope that is just one of his his job is "secure" comments and not his job is actually secure. There is not a more inept coach in the NFL and I am as anti Norv Turner as you will find. The Bills would be in position for a playoff spot right now if not for his horrible coaching decisions.

Talking about the NFL voiding Payton's contract? Meh. He can still resign with the Saints after the year if the Saints want him back and he wants to come back. Its not like Jerry Jones is behind the scenes pulling the strings on the NFL voiding that so the NFL's most popular team can get a coach that will return them to relevancy...

Yeah I have to agree, even though I think that Sean Payton will go back to NO regardless.

At Halftime, what's the game to watch the second half of? I should have come here and asked what the big 6pm GMT game to watch should be, and I'm watching Arizona against Green Bay at the moment (6-13 before extra point) and it's not holding my interest.

Also, Brit here with no "favourite team".

Not been following the game, but the hell is with the Titans? Bears putting up 28 points in the first quarter alone.
