Law chairs are like $19. Just buy a new one.

Go back to WalMart and buy another one.

If you can't fix it, I'd say buy a new one.

Unless you're really strapped for money - buy a new one...

The easiest way to fix the lawnchair is to just purchase an entirely new one. Otherwise, the materials and time it takes to actually fix it will end up costing more than a new chair.
when all else fails, read the STICKIES.

As others have said, unless you have wielding equipment lying around your best bet is to just buy a new one. Of course if you had some wielding equipment just lying around you wouldn't be asking the best way to fix a metal lawn chair.

JB Weld will work. In fact, it will be stronger than the chair...

It really depends on what kind of lawn chair you are talking about. Something like this:

Don't even bother trying to repair a cheap aluminum folding chair like that.

If it's something better, like part of some "outdoor furniture" set, or something that is actually some beefy metal, WB weld will do fine.

It will require a a piece of metal 4 screws and a drill if it's flat or just a smaller longer metal pipe if it's hollow and cylindrical.
