Greatest Computer Games of All Time

Inspired by the discussion of the list in this thread: http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...es-of-all-time I figured we could make our own list of the Greatest Computer Games of All Times.

I've made a site at http://games.thomasmadsen.net/ where you can add all the games you think should be on the list. After we have a long list we need some way to rate the games. If you have any suggestions on a good way to do that then post it is this thread.

The only rules I've added about the games that should be on the list is that it have to be a released game and it have to be an original computer game. So no Solitare or Monopoly or anything like that. Consol games are allowed.

If you have any other suggestions please post them.

Dragon age origin, deus ex and lastly for me magicka, some don't like it and it is by no means perfect in any respect, its buggy and has some questionable design choices to say the least. It has no story and is full of puns , but damn it I don't care I love that game it's just fun, always had a smile on my face while playing it.

But one point to add, I don't think any mmo can be considered best. They just feel so lacking compared to there single player counterparts, I guess it is getting better with Gw2 and Tera, but still nothing to some single player games, but hey just my opinion

Darksiders so far seems pretty good.

Well, the absolute best one is undoubtely WoW for me personally. It's the only computer game that have been able to last so many years for me, except for Warcraft III, but I haven't had as long breaks in WoW as I've had with Warcraft III.

And might aswell through League of Legends in there since it hasn't been mentioned yet.

Golden sun 1 & 2, haven't played the new one yet sadly, find it hard to get into single player games these days
Star wars knights of the old republic 1&2 even if you're not into Star Wars these are one of the best RPGs you'll ever play
Enjoyed Elder scrolls oblivion a lot but these days I can't get into those kind of games anymore, Skyrim bored me after 20 minutes already
Final fantasy Tactics on the GBA
WoW during WotLK, beyond that always felt really sub-par and not worthy to be among the games above

Might and Magic (non Heroes). These games were basis for all WoW-like MMOs (with first one of that kind being Meridian 59, made by 3DO as well).

Demise: Rise of the Ku'tan. One of the more obscure games out there. It features immense dungeon to explore. Most convoluted dungeon crawler up to these days.

Final Fantasy. Classic JRPG series.

Well the thread says Computer Games unfortunately, so alot of those are kind of invalid . BUT I must say... I agree with alot of your list in general. Specifically, the pokemon, goldeneye, metal gear solids
