Alternative to Shock and Awe / Enhancement

    Hi Fellas,

Just coming back from Cataclysm, and I find that my beloved Shock and Awe is no longer being developed. Levva, if you're still out there, thanks for all the hard work - that was an awesome addon.

For all you Enhancers, what are you using now? I read the sticky, but didn't find any of those to my liking.

    Thanks in advance.

    Personally, I'm using DroodFocus
    http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/droodfocus,
it's highly customizable, I use it for feral, enhance, shadow, and several other characters.

I have been using ESA. That would be our local Endus's Shaman Auras package for weakauras.

Somebody else still updates ShockAndAwe on curse.com, the last update was 4 days ago.

Shock and Awe IS being updated btw. However I moved from SAA to Enhaprio.

I pref Enhaprio as it shows up to 4 upcoming CDs not just the next one.

Disclaimer; my package is cooldown and aura trackers. If you're looking for a priority suggestion thing like SaA had, I have not included anything like that, nor do I have any plans to; it's a headache to code properly with enough conditionals to be useful, and if you don't do so, you end up with something good players should be ignoring half the time anyway.

If you want cooldown/aura trackers, though, my package has pretty much everything you'd want, except trinket trackers (because I don't want to update it manually and I can't figure out a way to automatically detect them).

I use WeakAuras with Endus' package, which I then modified to replicate SAA's timer bars. Pretty close too, the only difference is the MW display (5 squares instead of a bar with a number) and the shock bar is always green (no matter what shock you use). I also made the bar lengths proportional to the CD length (which SAA didn't do)

It doesn't do priority frames, but I never use them anyway. (I prefer making my own decisions instead of letting a popup do it for me)

I didn't realize ShockAndAwe was still being maintained. Thanks for all the other recommendations!

i have found curse.com/addons/wow/enhancement-technique to be the most accurate helper in maintaining your rotation. Like any addon it isnt perfect and cant play the game for you, but in single target situations its pretty spot on.

Enhance is simple enough not use any addons (except mandatory DBM).

I agree. I tried using S&A a few times, but since I already had my priority queue down intuitively, it created a dps loss, for me to try to follow the prompts that were given. Granted, I thought it was amazing that Levva took the time to develop S&A; it was/(is?) a very high-quality addon.
