Most honorable kills in WoW December 2012

There are very old posts about this so instead of bringing up an old one, this is current information as of today. According to the armory, this player has the most honorable kills

    http://us.battle.net/wow/en/characte...tistic#128:136
    1,798,305 honorable kills

Now compare to the one that most people believe have the most at:

    http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/characte...tistic#128:136
    1,725,665 honorable kills

    Wow, that's a lot.

Sadly, it's really diminished by the fact that no one is ever going to be dumb enough to think that was all the work of a single person.

Edit: The fact that he's a Death Knight, and by that fact had 4 years less time to get those kills than anyone else possibly had really drives home either exploits or account sharing.

Also, he's from my server. Never seen him around before though. Might be a new transfer or I've been lucky enough to not be a contribution to his totals.

Aredone is the infamous KJ 40-boxer who will sit in major cities multi boxing an entire raid group. It usually takes an hour or two for a raid group to form by annoyed alliance to "wipe" him. It is not surprising to me that he has the most HKs of any character.

Ared multiboxes 40 characters (may be even more), so it's not that impressive anymore.

To my knowledge, Fartzwrgoben doesn't multibox at all. He's just been grinding for a long, long time.

    Oh, is he?

Nevermind my above comment then, I've been killed by this guy many times.

If you have not heard of Aredone on the Kil'Jaeden realm, you're either new or haven't ever done PvP on that realm.

But by the way, I did some more soul searching and found out he's dwarfed in terms of Honorable Kills by this player:
    http://us.battle.net/wow/en/characte...tistic#128:136
    2,533,118 honorable kills

Are you going to once again claim exploits by the most famous multiboxer of the game that only does PvP?

I've been playing on KJ since since June 2005 when I started. As I posted above, I didn't realise this was the guy, I've never even seen his name before, always just referred to as "Multiboxer" or some other chain of expletives in trade chat.

Touche! I'm the multiboxer on Kil'Jaeden, but I refer to my characters in the game in third person because my characters in the game are not me, they are simply played by me.

    Haha.

Keep up the good work then, you're the only thing that makes things actually happen in Stormwind. (Please leave at least one AH alive )

Not sure how claiming most kills on a different toon of yours that is with an A<something> name has any merit since half his kills are probably by sitting in a raid with the other 39 of you.

I find myself wondering if a single HK earned by one kill is multiplied across the number of participating accounts on the same BNet.

That said, I'd likely be more impressed seeing their gaming rig(s) than their HKs.

Do you mean as sort of an unintended exploitative multiplier?

Like 6 characters on 1 BNet account all kill 1 guy, does that 1 HK each give everyone 6 HKs total?

I thought you could only log in to 1 BNet account at a time on a merged account. (I only have one so I don't know)

How you get 2.5 million honorable kills and never think to try Arena or don't get above 1500 rating is just crazy.

I've dualboxed for levelling purposes, you can run multiple accounts on the same BNet.

As for the first question, yes, that's my thought.

Edit: Not so much an exploit, more of a plain unintended side-effect of the shared account achievements (Including HKs).

May not enjoy that kind of PvP.

Personally, I'd rather stick a toothpick under my toe nail and kick a wall than do Arenas, I find them to be the perfect example of anti-fun in the entirety of WoW. BGs are my things, my favourite aspect of WoW.

Some people will think the exact opposite. This is how personal preferences work.

After digging through some of my own armories, including on different wow accounts (but same BNet) there are actually two separate counters for HKs.

One shows up on http:// us.battle.net/wow/en/character/yourserverhere/yourcharacterhere/simple (Simple)

The other shows your account total with http:// us.battle.net/wow/en/character/yourserverhere/yourcharacterhere/statistic#128:136(Statistic)

The statistic version'll show your total account HKs across your entire BNet account, so assuming the multiboxer(s) in question put their accounts on the same BNet for simplicity's sake, then the odds are pretty good that they're indeed just getting multiplied by however many characters are in the party / battleground.

Edit: Didn't intend for actual URL links.

This would explain why a few different multiboxers had a sudden skyrocket in HK counts recently. Not sure about the increase for Aredone as I hadn't seen his HK count before MoP.

Both the DK in this post and the warrior linked by someone else below have A LOT LESS HK than the infamous Fartzwrgoben.

Fartzwrgoben has disabled account wide achievements.
Those two have them enabled. They dont even come remotely close to the insane number of HK that crazy dude has. God only knows how much he has on his alts...

you can see the real number of HK on their characters main page... It's not even 1 million :-)

He's crazy. It works out at like 2-3 hours worth of BGs every day since WoW release or something.
