I don't think anyone is going to assume that he's got £200,000 to spend on a motherboard and PSU...

    Anyway, here's my suggestion OP:

    Motherboard
    ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 - £109.99 inc VAT

    PSU (choose one)
    InWin GreenMe 750W - £79.99 inc VAT
Enermax Triathlor FC 700w - £94.99 inc VAT

Normally I'd recommend one of the following PSUs, but they're both out of stock:
    Seasonic M12II 750W - £99.98 inc VAT
XFX Pro Series 750W - £79.99 inc VAT

That's why it went pufff. Make sure you go for a quality PSU this time round. Unless it's made by Seasonic, nothing will go near my hardware. Corsair AX750 is what I have. http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.p...y-power-supply
