Well that's why you try to pick targets who aren't looking towards you. It's all a guessing game, really.

Most potential targets are already locked in combat so they'll be shuffling around a lot anyway. Archers move around a lot specifically to counter other archers, and it's just rare to find a normal, running target.

I can't find any class that I'm really good at. I'm meh at Vanguard. Knight the same. Terrible at Man At Arms. I'm decent at Archer, but I like to use swords and shields in a medieval game.

just enable toggle running and the thing wbhere you just have to hold v+movement key for dodging instead of having to press it twice
also play in third person when man at arms

all you have to do is to run like a madman into peoples faces and combo the shit out of them

Somepony invaded you on Blighttown? Same happened to me in NG+

I was in the swamps and suddenly I got invaded, I was already running towards the boss gate but I was poisoned by the waters so the health loss gave away my position. However, the same happened to the invader, was loosing HP because of the water... So I decided to wait him next to the fog gate.

WITH MILDRED next to me. Poor lil' fella got beated down to a BLOODY PULP.
