I usually just take the backway in, through the shortcut in New Londo. Then it's not that hard. Just get poisoned, kindle the bonfire at the swamp to 10 and you can out-heal it. Run in, rape Quelagg and boom biddidy bau WAU BOOM BUAH!

Also, if you're at around level 80, watch out - I'm invading Blighttown

Could've done that but I want all the loot, so guess I'm stupid.

Was thinking that I'd just get the bonfire near Quelagg, get the fire keeper soul, go back up to Firelink, head to Catacombs and get the Rite, then save Reah and get Wrath of Gods.

Then I could proceed to knock every fucker down the higher areas of Blighttown.
