After armor, IBF, and Bone Shield its only 900k damage, plus intensity stacks. Easily doable.

I wasn't saying it was impossible; just curious how it'd work out.

And 10m raiders cry about 25m cheesing mechanics with CDs

    - He increases his runspeed by 200%
    - He triggers this spell, which causes him to fixate on a target
    - He triggers this spell, which causes his invisibiltiy level to increase (by 10.000, for comparision: The mage talent Greater Invisibility causes invisbility to increase by 340 and Invisibility Potion grants 200)

What'd be interesting is what happens if you'd time Transendence (Monk), Blink (Mage), Demonic Circle / Gateway (Warlock) or Shadowstep (Rogue) so that his 5s buff expires and he's out of range of his target... Maybe I'll give that a few shots in my alt raid
A mage can in fact blink out of it. What you do is blink AFTER the stun that locks you in place happens, not before. Blinking before just gets you killed, but doing it after you're locked in place means the big cleave happens where you were standing. Of course, this means that a mage should just stand apart from the rest of the raid to handle this, and if he gets Unseen Strike, nobody should move to stack on him.

In 25man... well, after 50% we just let people suicide it then rezzed 'em, or maybe not even bother to rez. It's not like the dps is needed in the last phase! Can't do that in 10man of course, but for 25 it's silly how trivial the fight is.

Hey, at least you have options like this:

Can't really afford that in 10 man!

These gimmick mechanics are rarely worth implementing into your strategy. You really should just play better and do it "right".

It's fun to think about and maybe even try crazy things, but the benefit is easily outweighed by the risk.

True enough. Little things that rely on one player to do something extra tend to only really work with the most reliable of players. Blade Lord is an easy fight, not worth over-complicating. After the final Wind Step before an Unseen Strike, simply have the raid group up on the boss so there's no difficulty to speak of in stacking for it.
