I'm the only one of my group of pokemon friends that has a 3DS

We all knew it was coming soon. DS is how old now? 3ds is better tech, can do more, so it's time for your friends to accept it and upgrade.

Might be the first time I don't take my starting Pokemon into the Pokemon League unless they tweak the weakness/resistance chart.

This may seem like a stupid question but how do i go against other players on black 2. iI beat the game once and started over to get a new starter but couldnt figure out how to go against other players from my home

Fun fact for anyone who doesn't know: Gen III takes place at the same time of Gen I. That's why you see a note in Lanette's place from Bill. Two PC transfer pioneers.

I'm not sure how many years are between Gen I to Gen IV but I'm guessing at least a decade not counting the real life part to it but in a decade people can accomplish a crazy amount of things.

If you're playing locally, both of you can go into the Union Room to battle (top level of Pokemon center, girl on the far left). There's an option in the C-Gear as well, I believe.

Anyone else here hoping the rival in pokemon x and y ( if they have one, which i reallly hope the have one ) is actually a rival and wants to go against you a lot more than the one in pokemon black 2

Current amount of pokemon: 649
Average amount of pokemon per generation: 649/5 = 129.8
Total expected amount of pokemon in generation six: 129.8*6 = 778.8 (778 or 779).

Take out the original 151 and redo that math and you'll see the average each new gen had. Should be 548/4. About 135ish?

should be 498/4. So about 125ish. Close enough I guess. Weird.

I'd rather see how many each gen added and make a guess from that rather than an average. Remember, gen 2 only added 100. It also had a strong tie-in with gen 1 though.

Well i'd like to see more new evolution chains than just new evolution for an old pokemon. Its just lazy in my opinion and it newer made much sence to me how in one region a pokemon can evolve to another but in another region it cannot.
