Can't say I know really but it might be to do with the scent. I have a very good memory for words when they're written down - to the point where I was able to fully memorise a 2000 word essay in less than an hour and regurgitate it exactly, word for word in an exam a couple of days later.
As a 'special ability' (if you'd actually call it that), it has been extremely useful throughout school and uni.
Less useful in social occasions however, since at parties I've recognised girls from facebook (mutual friends photos coming up and etc) and stupidly been able to tell them their full name. Despite the fact it really was a case of merely seeing their name next to a photo on my newsfeed, cue the allegations of facebook stalking...Last edited by stuartj1992; 2013-01-12 at 03:51 PM.

I'll admit there was a slight hiccup in my training during the few years when I had a steady girlfriend but, if the Elder Council are willing to overlook my brief transgression, I think I could be a powerful wizard when I come of age.
