Now, I might be a black sheep in the herd here, but I am really against all the pony-stuff. HOWEVER - please hear me out.

This "thing" came along and I thought it would pass. But it would appear as it's something that will stay. So... I've been trying to avoid it like the plague, but I must admit. I am a bit curious what really makes the series so.. popular. Like, is it the story that's good, the characters, the combination, or... In short: Enlighten me about what makes it so popular?

Why are you against it if you do not really know what it is?

We like the show, plain and simple. We like the characters and the quality that it has for a show made for children. The only way you can judge it for yourself is if you watch a couple of episodes and see for yourself so you can come up with an opinion.

It's not like we are watching Jersey Shore.

I said the same. What most likely happened was what happened about a month ago, someone asked my mother if she is being abused by us, even when she wasn't, and said yes, maybe for some attention or not truly getting what she is saying yes to. At that time she said everything from my step-dad, to me, to the nurse, and kept switching it until finally we found out it was the nurse that was doing it.



I walked around my house for 2 hours, literally talking to myself over all of this, on how unbelievable this is.

Wow. That's just . . . that whole situation sounds like a whole lot of bullshit. God how bad can this world can be is pitiful, shame bad things happen to good people.

There are a wide range of characters, all with well fleshed out personalities. It's hard to find one that you don't like, or relate to in some way.

The plot is generally good and entertaining. It also covers a wide variety of issues, like bullying, prejudices, and more.

Plus, it's super bright and colorful, and just makes you super happy when you watch it.

It has great story, great characterization, its not the usual air headed stories most other shows do. The fandom is a big part of it, it brings out art, music, fiction all manner of stuff.
