But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

Yes, but we were low on supplies and man power. Hitler turning on Russia saved our asses, on the other hand, if Britain had not held on for that long, there is no way the Allies would have won the war.

Our politicians at the time, at least some of them was pretty pro-nazi tbh. But there was many individuals that was anti-nazi, my grandads sis Inis was hiding norwegian resistance fighters(she lived right across the border), and his brother Gösta was a sailor that smuggled ball bearings(used by RAF among others) to England from Lysekil, there was a good bunch who died doing that, there is a nice memorial wall for them here in Gothenburg.

Realistically though, I don't think it would have made much difference if we had faught the germans, our military was a joke, the Nazis would have crushed us... and in doing so gotten control of the iron mines and the worlds biggest ball bearing manufacturer at the time, SKF. So where would that have left us? It would have been vital for Britain to bomb the mines and the factories at the very least.

Here is a pretty neat story btw

A Swedish church has found itself in the centre of a mystery after English relatives of a gunned down World War II airman realized that an anonymous well-wisher had been planting flowers at the grave since 1943.

The airman, Colin Fredrick Chambers, died in March 1943 when his Halifax DT 620 plane was shot down over the Danish coast after having dropped weapons for the resistance movement in Poland.

All the soldiers died in the crash, with the then 28-year-old Chambers washing up on Swedish shores entangled in parachute ropes.

He was buried with military honour at a church graveyard in Fjelie, southern Sweden.

“Throughout all these years, someone has been putting flowers on the grave – and we have no idea who it is,” said church head Krister Hagman of the Bjärred congregation to The Local.

“When the man’s UK relatives visited the burial site for the first time in spring, they were astonished that someone had taken all the trouble. There were fresh flowers and a ribbon with text.

“They naturally wanted to know more, and plan to give thanks to the unknown person, so they wrote us a letter asking if we knew anything.”

In response, the church put out a notice in their parish paper asking for the mystery well-wisher to come forward, however no one has owned up yet.

“We’ve had a lot of calls, but mostly from newspapers wanting to know more. People are certainly interested," said Hagman

While Hagman confesses he doesn’t know personally who is behind the flowers, he has agreed to get on board with contributions of his own.

“We’ll be adding our own flowers to the gravesite now too, in honour of the fallen soldier,” he said.

The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...

Exactly. It was an incredible performance but not sustainable, albeit vital to winning the war. America would never have been able to face a Nazi Europe and a Japanese Empire.

Or the rebellious Catholics and Protestants, or the blacks and gypsies. The Nazis hated quite a lot of people.
In fact as far as I'm aware the UK is the only european nation that outright bans guns for civilians.
Shotguns I'll give you (provided you're allowed 12 and larger gauges... because I mean... come on...) but not .22s.
This is why people ban guns. Gun supporters don't know what guns are.

Without Britain there would have been no base of operations to plan and launch the Normandy landings, and despite certain propaganda, the USA did not beat Japan on their own. Commonwealth troops were a real thorn in the Japanese side, especially in India and Burma. If Japan had access to the rich resources in those areas then things would have been much tougher overall.

Funny how Sweden staying out of the war supplied the norweigans with a base of operation as well as a sanctuary

The Forgotten War always infuriates me. Japan would have controlled all of East Asia and taken Australasia without the British. Hell, the British even fought in Africa and marched most of the Italian army up and down.

I doubt any other country could have pulled off what the British did in multiple theatres.

So your country hid a few people as well as giving vital supplies to the Nazi's, I am sure the people whose homes were destroyed by bombs made of swedish iron can take great solace in that.

To be fair, that was not too tough. Many argue that the Italians being such shit Soldiers cost the Germans the war, since they lost the oilfields they were charged with protecting. Tanks without fuel are just bunkers.

The Nazis had gays killed in concentration camps. Not a very well known fact, but it's true.

Britain fucked up a great deal, nobody is denying that, but neither can anyone deny that no other country outside the USSR did more to try and put things right. Did you know that Hitler offered Great Britain the chance to join the 3rd Reich? What if Britain had remained neutral also?

You still dont get it, they would have gotten the iron ore either as it turned out or by occupying Sweden.
How is that so hard for you to understand?
As it turned out we were the only safe place that hundreds of thousans of people could flee to.
Yea we didnt put up a symbolic 2 week fight but what happened actually turned out to be the best thing for Europe as a whole in my book.

But using 30k ANZAC soldiers to delay 300k well-armed and well-equipped soldiers is still incredible. Italy certainly cost Germany Africa and the Middle East.

To me, fighting Germany right back to Berlin and making them surrender was the best thing for Europe, but we are all entitled to our opinions.
