Expecting 5.2 ....

Hey guys,
Does anybody know when blizz wants to release 5.2? I wouldn't care about it but this season is so messed up that i don't know what to do ingame. (Maybe lvling hunter/warri? =D) At the moment im just waiting for some pvp improvements...checking mmo-champion everyday but still there is nothing about a release of 5.2. One month ago i read something about 4-6 weeks but i think blizz would have told us if the patch comes out in the next week.
Does anyone have a clue about that?

I read some speculation about a March release. That's the most I've heard.
Though I'd love for it to come sooner.

There is no certain answer, as Blizzard does not announce the release of patches in advance. The only clue you will have is when Blizzard posts a announcement about the end of the arena season, as the patch will usually come out the same day the season ends. If not, then at the start of the new one.

The best estimate I have heard, based on what I have seen of the PTR and how far along the raid testing is, would be the end of February or beginning of March.

March? That would be horrible... Season 12 longer than 5 months? =( They rly need to end this quick! Unfortunately i bought the diablo 3 + 1 year wow deal...otherwise i could freeze my abo for the rest of s12...(sry for whining)
But you are right. They can't just say that this season ends next week so march seems realistic =(

My personal opinion is that it'll arrive on either February 5th or the 12th. I have no basis for this other than some baseless broad assumption of it possibly coming close to, and before the Valentines event.

Just wait for the announcement of the PvP season ending and you'll have 2 weeks heads up that a patch is coming.

Not too soon, the PVE tier is hardly cleared by the masse. And the PVP season is not that long neither (5 month isn't exeptional at all). Their is still a lot to test on PTR too.

Keeping in mind that Heart of the Swarm is being released the 12th (?) of March, 5.2 won't be released early-mid march. It'll either be out late February or late March imo.

I'm hoping it's soon, and that most people who were trying to raid in normal mode give up in disgust. The devs at Blizzard who think difficulty and complexity are good for the game need some stern discipline.

This is usually the most accurate. Most patches stay on the PTR for 60 days before launch. Since it just hit early Jan with 5.1, I would imagine 5.2 will be early March.

They are beyond my personal level of enjoyment. And, judging by completion numbers on tracking sites, they are beyond the level of interest and/or ability of the vast majority of players.

They tuned the raids much better, in my opinion, this expansion than any before.

They even stated that with LFR they can tune bosses better to be harder and easier, and they've tweaked them when need be for live, whether its nerfing Elegon or Garalon, or some of the Heroic Bosses too.

What boss are you even stuck on? Garalon? Wind Lord?

Took me and my old guild a few weeks to down Garalon and Elegon (not in that order) but we eventually killed it and it was satisfying as hell. Steamrolled through HoF after that.

Yeah it was. Mists was out September 25th. I think 5.1 dropped middle of November?

I still think 5.2 will drop around Mid Feburary, I just hope ESO doesn't drop in Feburary. I already have all my free time reserved to Final Fantasy 14 ARR beta.
