If not, which 8GB (2x4GB) dual-channel RAM do you recommend?

yes it should work just fine.

That RAM will work fine, though you could go with something that has a lower profile cooler on it, such as This set of Patriot RAM. They also come in red.

This is of course if you have a large air cooler for your CPU.

I know, it kinda seems like that to me too. I wouldnt say they are low profile like the ones with no cooler, but they surely must be shorter than vengeance or ripjaws.

Oh true those are 1.65v, I guess it is technically outside Ivy specs. I doubt it's an issue but if you can get 1.5v that should be preferred.
