If it happens multiple times in the anime then it's not even canon, and yet another thing that defines how terrible the anime adaptation is compared to the original. Unless I'm somehow forgetting stuff again.

If you want characters that are truly designed to cater to other people's desires, sexual or not, Rin and Sakura accomplish that in ways that almost fully complement each other.

I was just about to say, yeah, all I know about it is based on the anime which is purportedly shit anyways, so...I can't remember much. I know she does it at least once. I mean, don't get me wrong, her concept is cool and all, being based on a historical figure and whatnot, but...as a pure character, I just didn't find her very interesting. /shrug

In the anime they didn't have her talk much and they didn't give her much significant character (or character development) at all. If that's different in the visual novel, then we're basically talking about two different Sabres.

Very possible. For the most part, the anime tried to follow the first route (Fate, the one which focuses on Saber), but that pretty much failed from the start. You can't do that in just a handful of episodes.

It also tried to include bits and pieces from the other two routes, but the only thing that did is make the whole story even more confusing and terrible, while also losing any remaining focus that it might've originally had.

You raise some very valid points otherwise.
