    Question Just picked my parts

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/AKLw

If you see anything I need or something you don't like, please give me a link to what part you are recommending, thanks!

    Otherwise... how is it?

I don't use a lot of space if you are wondering about the HDD

Why get a Velociraptor as a storage drive?

It is very expensive and I see no reason to have a 10k RPM drive for storage.
You can get a 7200RPM drive of the same size for about half the price.

This graphics card is cheaper after rebate, and better overall.

This would be my suggestion for the complete build, some minor changes from yours.

Took the 500GB drive since it was only $3 more expensive than 250GB.
2133MHz memory isn't really needed but it was the one you picked and it was pretty much the same price as 1600MHz so I left it there.
Better motherboard which is also cheaper.
Slightly better PSU, 520W is plenty for a single GPU build.

I would opt for the extreme4 over the extreme3, the price is usually +/- $5.

For storage I would personally opt for a 128g ssd and a larger storage drive. The 128g ssd will probably save you around $100 an you can get a good 7200 rpm drive for ~$70

Wow, thank you! I am looking at this SSD I picked and I'm thinking "This is too big..." do you know any fast, reliable SSDs that are smaller in storage size?

256gb is a good size, if you plan on putting a few games. If you not then they sell a 128gb version of that ssd.

Would that motherboard let the ram run full speed? I'm reading in the reviews some motherboards limit ram speed.

Yes it supports 2133MHz RAM in XMP mode.

Keep in mind, usually increasing the RAM above 1600 really won't give much benefit. I guess there's not a downside to it, per se. However it's not something to really 'worry' about. Again, ram is so cheap, that getting normal 1600 ram would only save you about $8.

I'd just like to add that for a regular gamer, like me, a 128gb ssd is more than enough. I'm using a crucial M4, but the intel 840s are just as good.

I have my OS, WoW and a few software suits (like CS3) on it and am about halfway filled iirc. At least I still have space left.

Not sure about minecraft requirements, but the visuals of the game make me think it's not a 40gb install.
