Yes, this was one of my patients. Nicest guy in the world when he wasn't drugged, but he always was in horrible pain. He died about a year ago, but he was in pain for 3 months after his injuries because we couldn't help him the way he wanted.
You should have no say in telling other people if they have the right to die comfortably.
