    That's actually not that uncommon, it's to allow the bridge to move during earthquakes.

    China...shits always exploding there and it's no surprise the bridge went down either given some of the incredibly poor construction they put into things.

    heh, go away for for an hour and the thread gets comments

    so besides smog and so many people, looks like i wont be moving to china in the fear of random firework delivery truck explosions

    You have to consider the size of the country though. I'm not one bit surprised stuff like this happens there. Population-wise, it's almost 5 United States and 3 European Unions.
