No. Wrong.

IMGur only ruins quality of images over a certain size. It has no effect on small images like avatars and signatures.

It didn't screw up that avatar though. I believe it was Photobucket. I just rehosted it on IMGur.

And I host my very large images on DeviantArt, so I don't bother with Minus. Too many hosts.. too much effort.
