Malkorok, this Orc has a secret

So I was checking out some of the Characters from Tides of War, and the 5.1 storylines. And something and someone came to mind. Who exacly is Malkorok, some would say, well hes just another Orc under Garrosh's command but, why is he second in command? Why did he get in that position with such ease?. Well if you read Tides of War, it does give a pretty solid explanation, but who was he? what exacly does he want here?

Then something came do mind....Kil'jaeden. This might sound wierd, but KJ is THE deceiver. I then searched for Malkorok on google just to try and find intresting theorys, and this Thread came up:

    http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/6571627404

The poster in this thread makes an amazing point when you read what the Taurens said about Malkorok, it even made me re-read the introduction portion of him on the book.

So the question is, do you think Malkorok is hideing something? Is he a Dreadlord, some simple peasant? Or is THE Deceiver himself?

of course he has a secret. he has a secret stash of tauren porn hidden in his closet
Warlorcs of Draenorc made me quit. You can't have my stuff.

Probably we will know this in the 5.4 patch... muahaha

I want to say he's just another derp Blackrock barbarian looking for a new vehicle to commit murder from but then I can't help but wonder what kind of influence he has over Garrosh. He could be a Dreadlord but then you'd think a Warlock would sniff him out rather quickly. Dreadlords were able to run the Scarlets since you could be assured none of those psychotic zealots would ever consider Warlocks acceptable in their ranks. They added a bunch of Outland fauna to Burning Steppes in 5.1 under the guise of granting access to Outland pet classes before actually going there but it seems weak. I don't think he's KJ at all. A scheming, plotting lieutenant is more Dreadlord; given how KJ tricked the Orcs the first time around, he'd be more likely to appear to Garrosh as a ghost/spirit of Grom.
Mal'ganis is still out there, he's more or less rogue, but rather pissed he was thwarted his vengeance against Arthas.

KJ would have to be summoned here by an extremely thorough ritual, I'm not sure he can just possess people from the nether like that.

Wouldn't put it past Blizzard to retcon something like that. So there is a possibility.

If this plot twist proves to true the final raid patch might be more interesting than I thought.

    Off-topic:Lysah I can't stop looking at that avatar >.<

Eh, Malkorok is a point-of-view character in Tides of War at certain points; he even internally reflects on his backstory with the Blackrock for us.

I'm sure we'd know if any demonic possession was afoot. He just comes off as a massive tool.

If he's Kil'jaeden why hasn't he convinced Garrosh to attack the draenei? Seems like that'd be the first order of business.

    I'm seriously hoping not.

If he is, he will just be a last minute scapegoat thats will be the apparent reason Garrosh did bad things, and that will suck kodo balls.

For the Love of God I hope not. I have seen enough corruption of characters already.

This whole war must be just a fault of a Power Hungry Garrosh and nothing more.

It has to show what happens when someone makes terrible desicions for his faction. It must show how war is wrong.

People have a very difficult time of taking that on board. You have moaned and whined about wanting the 'waaaaarrrrrrr*derp*' make in warcraft, how they want the story to focus just on horde vs alliance.

So blizzard did that, but they also need an end boss, so instead of some evil dragon or undead lord of old god, they just had the instigator of all this war as the bad guy, and they can't seem to deal with this, now saying 'well, he must be controlled by something, because in my mind he's not done anything wrong'... sigh...

It's not going to. I'm pretty sure the idea behind MoP is "why do we fight" not "war is bad."

The so called plot twist will be as big as the one from Talia in Dark Knight Rises. We all know how that went.

if you listen very carefully, you can hear Talia farting when she bites it, suggesting the south park theory still works.

Yes I know plot twists can be good. In this scenario though, it would be bad.

It'd be cool if Malkorok is kinda like the 'boss' of 5.3, which is what I presume will be the build-up towards the Siege of Orgrimmar raid patch. Someone you take on at the end of the storyline quests or in a final scenario, or what have you.

I do want to know more about him, but I don't really want to see him as a raid boss. Siege should have more than just a bunch of regular angry orcs, tauren, and golbins in it, so the more orcs we take out before then, the more chance there is for some crazy shit like giant magma-powered mogu-statues, or Sha beasties, or what have you.

I doubt hes KJ himself, and honestly it would lore-shattering if he was. previous lore has shown that he can't just pop onto azeroth whenever he chooses, possession or no. Although given blizzards recent complete disregard of their own lore... well anythings possible i guess.

I do think its very likely he is a dread lord / other demon in disguise, controlling the horde the way they controlled the scarlet crusade perhaps.

Also possible hes just a shadow council warlock in disguise working to bring the legion back to azeroth.

The Malkorok thing feels very much like the chromatus thing from twilight of the aspects, where Thrall and the aspects fought against a massive multi headed dragon, and despite its presence in the book, recieved zero development ingame and became a forgotten character.
Sometimes you can pick up on where blizzard design certain lore characters as expendable, so its easy to see Malkorok as a boss in s.o.o.
