Anyone know any good sci-fi anime that focus around space/space ship battles? Something like the Stargate series.

The big one to recommend in these cases would be Legend of the Galactic Heroes. It might not be for everyone, so you should watch the two movies first (My Conquest is the Sea of Stars and Overture to a new War), just to see if it's something for you.
Then there's Terra e which is also really good, but that takes a while to get out to space.
Tylor is also quite fantastic, for as long as it stays a comedy at least.

Adding my vote for Seikai no Monshou and Seikai no Senki series. Rather old, especially first seasons, so the animation is not necessarily up to par - but it's really awesome so long as you ignore a few idiocies in one episode of the first season.

If you want more eye candy try out Macross Frontier - not the best story, but the amount of eye- and ear-candy is astounding.

Tamako Market - I've realized Kanna is a complete sadit. Almost everything she says/does is sadistic and it's made me love her so much more. I don't think the brown loli can become any more delicious and squeezable after this episode though. Her in a school costume was just too much for my heart.

Ixion Saga DT - (Slight episode spoiler pics) What the hell what the hell. Jugglaburk is the craziest character of the show. My little ED can't be this kawaii. New ED too!

Amnesia - Delicious yandere time. Also boy are those girls annoying as shit. I want to punch them just for what they wear.

gj-bu - The entire gang is together at last! Kirara's younger sister's whiteboard hanging around her neck is adorable. Kyolo is also extremely lucky, being in a room with ~9 girls in their swimsuits.

It was great to see err'body in the clubroom, especially taking into account the abundance of swimsuits, but why, oh why, did Dogakobo feel the need to do this to us Shion fans?! It's not fair!! Although, Mori being Mori (in a bikini!) almost made up for it. Almost.

Psycho-Pass: Oh Urobuchi.. how great of a story can you possibly make? This episode was splendid. I loved the back and forth discussion between Kyougami and Saiga with Makishima "showing up" and putting his word into the discussion like that along with that excellent OST was really well done. The ending made me all giddy, I wonder what is going to happen with Akane now. With only 3 episodes left I just know something mindblowing is going to happen.

Kotoura: Oh wow. That was a knife in the images she saw before she fainted, wasn't it? Was it something from her past, or did she get her abilities back and it was someone close to her? To feint over it also.. I can't think a past memory coming back to you like that would be feinting to unconsciousness worthy. Next episode will be interesting.

That was not a knife, that was an extendible baton. I think she either read a murderer's memory of a recent kill [i]or[/i] someone was killed nearby and she picked up on the dying thoughts. The PoV seemed to be that of an assailant though, so the former seems more likely. Going by the anime-paranormal-science that kind of reading could cause a telepath to faint of shock if not accustomed to similar stuff - maybe Kotoura's on the way to going public with her ability as a way to assist police somehow?

Haganai - Yozora is being kinda an asshole. I agree with Sena that Yozora cares way too much about the past and can't see what's in front of her.

Is that a short-haired red-headed loli tomboy I see in the preview?

Robotics;Notes - Oh my god. This is the last part of S;G all over. I got chills down my spine the entire episode it was that great. There is just so much they need to squeeze into the last 3 episodes it's going to be insane. This has made me want to delve right into C;H and do the S;G VN just to get an entire feel for how all three games tie into each other, because the subtle ways they do is brilliant. I really feel like they are setting something great up that deals with The Committee of 300.

The next three weeks are going to be amazing with this and P-P.

Do it, there's one big change in the VN that a lot of people are missing out on! And there's also a short route and alternate ending for each of the side characters. I watched the anime second, and I'm rather glad about that, because I felt like a lot of stuff had way more impact in the VN.

I haven't started C;H yet, but I plan on reading the VN soon. Apparently the anime for it sucks.

True. I don't remember much of the plot, but I do remember being severely disappointed in it after watching Steins;Gate. I hate dropping shows as I don't feel I can thoroughly judge it unless I've seen the end, but that's the only reason I finished the Chaos;Head anime.

I'm just hoping the original is good. There are plenty of cases where judging something by the anime version is a bad idea, but we'll see. And I haven't seen any of the anime, I just keep hearing that it's bad, hehe.
