Am I the only one who likes smelling Coca Cola?

Right before I drink it or when I open a bottle.

Smells so good. Same with most other sodas (except Sprite makes me sneeze).

On the subject of smells, does anybody else think they should make air fresheners that smell like restaurants? There's this Indian food place nearby that smells so amazing.

The carbonated mist that hits the nose is quite pleasant.

I will respect your opinion but am puzzled as to why you know what sawdust tastes like.

The 'C' was capitalized for a reason.

My preference for colas between Coke/Pepsi is Pepsi Throwback>MexiCoke>Coke>Pepsi. Pepsi is nice when I want a little bit more of a fruity flavor but not full on to something like Sprite or Mountain Dew.

I like making jokes. I figured capitalizing the C was enough to allow people to understand that it was soda while still allowing for a humorous sounding title.

The sense of smell and sense of taste are related. Coke tastes like a whaft of a lumber yard.

Must be some delicious-smelling lumber yards.

But no, I can kinda understand what you mean a little bit but I think your sense of taste/smell is 'blind' to something. My sense of taste is off really badly for some things, like beans, avocado, cilantro and coconut. I can handle things that are flavored like those (like chips or pina colada, etc.) but if it uses the actual pulpy stuff it will taste fucked up. Beans/avocado will give me a strong wax taste, cilantro a soap taste and coconut I can't describe very well. I feel like the woody flavor in Coke comes out in the same way to you.

To be fair, it really only comes out when the Coke is warm.

you've never sawed anything, ever, have you?

even using a hand saw and a sawdust mask outside on a windy day, you're still going to taste it....

that or bite a wooden toothpick - they're also made from wood like sawdust.

lots of ways to get your daily dose of pine.

Try not to drink Coca Cola as its has far too much of the syrup in it and gives me indigestion, However I do Like the smell of a freshly opened bottle of Dandelion and Burdock, Irn-Bru

However I Really do love the smell of a freshly opened bottle of Pear Cider

If you could get that as an air freshener its all I would use.

I have tasted toothpicks obviously, but I've never had a problem tasting sawdust when I've been sawing things, which I have done on numerous occasions.

A good bottle of classic Coke, the sort with the real sugar, is just about as close to a perfect as a beverage as it gets, IMO.

The best smelling stuff to me are alcoholic beverages though. Cabernet, IPA, a good bourbon... nothing else tops those for me.
