Ascendance and Glyph of Chain Lightning

Hey there,

Does anyone know if Glyph of Chain Lightning also affects the version of Chain Lightning you get, while Ascendance is active?

And also, is it just me or does Chain Lightning do ridicolous damage when glyphed?

lava beam hits 5 target baseline so without glyph you should have 3 jump cl and 5 jump lava beam

Right you are, according to WoWHead. So if the glyph affected Lava Beam, it would be 7 targets? Seems unlikely...

yes. missed to tell you the glyph is not affecting lavabeam. ^^ the only difference between glyphed cl and lava beam is the damage dealt, number of jumps is the same.

Correct, Lava Beam and Cl are 2 different Spells, even without the Glyph Lava Beam will hit 5 Targets, therefore Lava Beam is unaffected by the Cl Glyph.
