what are some good mods for immersion? Like just to basically make the basic game better.
Dunno if Skyre really improves immersion per se.
Frostfall for sure. Texture packs, maybe Superb ENB. Realistic Needs and Diseases is a must. Any cloak mod (recommend winter is coming). Wet and cold. Climates of Tamriel. Bandoliers/mage's backpack. Immersive weapons/armors. Convenient horses. Realistic Lighting Overhaul. Brehanin's vampire overhaul. Heart of the beast/tales of lycanthropy for werewolves. Skyrim immersive creatures + lore friendly pack (adds a ridiculous amount of new but largely lore friendly creatures. WARNING MIGHT NOT WORK WITH ASIS after testing it out on my own). Reduced fog v2, skyrim optimization (increases frame rates in dungeons).
For combat: skyre, asis (this is a MUST try), yy anim replacer, sperg, deadly dragons, dragon combat overhaul, midas magic and many many more. Just go to the skyrim nexus and search top files.
Also a request for all y'all for myself and any/many other players that might be looking: recommend a music overhaul mod!

I got an AMD radeon hd 7770 which is A LOT weaker than your one card let alone two but I'm hoping against hope that I'll be able to run ENB's well on it.
My last shitty card was a Nvidia GTS 240 and I was running an .ini modded sharpshooter ENB with LOTS of texture mods at 45+ fps so there's no reason a 7770 can't handle the same and more.

Justicar Paladin: Light Weaponry(Spellblade), Blocking(Wards), Heavy Armor, Destruction(Lightning element), Restoration(Auras, Healing, Wards, Curses), Enchanting, Alteration(Sunlight Blade and Armor Spells), Speechcraft(Positive Shouts)
Crusader Paladin: Heavy Weaponry, Blocking(no shield), Heavy Armor, Archery(Longbows), Restoration(Auras, Curses), Alteration(Sunlight Blade and Armor Spells), Smithing(Heavy Armor), Speechcraft(Harmful shouts)

Skyre's cool, but after breaking my save games for a third time, I gave up on it. Running a more or less vanilla run now with only some of the DLC (haven't gotten Dragonborn yet), and a few texture and UI mods.
Game actually runs worse with my new video card. I had to download a tool to force windowed full screen because normal full screen causes awful vertical stutter.
