I changed my GPU client type to beta, but it's still using 0x16.

Um, not that I know of. When I typed in beta I changed the one that said "advanced" to "beta", I didn't add another one that said beta. And you have to wait till the work unit is done and it starts a new one. It should be 0x17 then. Mine was.

Well my 0x17 points with titan plummeted as well. I'd say "I'm going back to non-beta" but am actually not gonna fold for a while.

It will give you an estimate of how long each 'work unit' will take, usually quite a few hours but you dont have to do it all at once. Once one is finished it will automatically download another. The program should automatically set one unit for your cpu and one for your graphics card if you have one.

Sorry for double post but that was nearly a month ago.

If people were holding out for the new work units they're out now, new 0x17, i went from around 100k ppd on the old ones to around 215k ppd. I havent been folding for a while since they took the 0x17 down and i was getting about 30k ppd. Grab em while they last :P

Have you guys looked into better options for bundling your computer combos. Almost everything you list if from amazon. One nifty site Mwave that allows you to bunble cpu+motherboard+ memory for a discount. Furthermore many cases have 500W power supplies built in for the same price (and look cooler 2). I made a similiar build to the dolphin for about $250 less.

Heh, tested today and now it estimates 130'000 PPD with titan on a 0x17 core. CPU folding completely off (but nvidia's implementation of OpenCL means GPU-folding will use some CPU..) Sounds sweet.

yeah the new units are pretty crazy, i dont even bother with cpu folding anymore.

My ppd has dropped massively in the last few days, i think its these 8900 projects, only getting 55k ppd with 2 7970s, was getting around 200k ppd before. Il leave it on today see if it increases at all.

I am not sure whether I have selected the right option. On OC3D iv read that GPU0 and GPU3 client needs to be enabled yet my GPU isn't being utilized by the software.
