    Pvp Healing

    Hey Guys,

Been away from wow now since mid december and deliberating coming bk. I only pvp as dont have the time to raid anymore and prefer healing when in pvp.

Played a resto sham at 2.2 and rdruid (before MoP)

How are priests for pvp thinking Arena and BG's (not RBG's)?
    What is the goto spec?

I dont want to play Rdruid or Rsham but if you feel priest is dire what are the reasons you feel this?

Priests are absolutely fine. Find a mixture of Mage/Rogue/UHDK/Hunters and you'll have no issues.

Holy priests are the "raid" healers of rbgs. They specialise in aoe group wide heals like monks. Disc though is still more sought after because they are still better. Monks do aoe healing better anyway so no one really bothers with Holy priests.

The probelm is monks and druids feel the aoe heals so nicely, disc priest feel the single target healing very good, so many just are disc. Also it does not heal that blizzard is really only willing to let disc be good at pvp and they do not help holy at all. It is kind of like ignore spec, like enhance and elem shamans.

Disc priests are very good, especially for 3v3 arena.

Druids are pretty bad compared to priests and shamans right now. They can't heal through burst, and burst is everywhere.

Priests are in a pretty good shape, but shamans are better. Though with the nerfs coming to shadow, shamans will get weaker and priests will get stronger, as not being able to play with a shadow priest was considered a weakness for a disc priest. Rolling a priest would probably be the best idea right now.

Tremor totem counters Disc priest teams pretty hard. I also wouldn't say Druids are bad, they can heal through burst easily with Tree Form and have the best movement, cc and are the least vulnerable class to cc.

Silence counters totems pretty hard as well and its not like tree form is there all the time right? As the above poster said, burst is all there is now in pvp...
