I remember an thread about this over half a year ago. Basicaly my question is if I will be able to get it on other characters aswell or only on the one I was logged in when receiving the meta achievment. After I've took the battleground from the blacklist I did the last 12 missing victories on my main today. Problem is that the Alliance NEVER EVER has the workshop and thus I can't actually destroy the siege engine (getting the killing blow that is...).

Seeing how the killing blow on the siege engine is what is going to net me the meta I am a bit worried, sure the tabard looks far better on an Alliance char than Horde but I'd still like to have it on my main and not just my Alliance alt.

The problem here is that the battleground Metas are "BLUE ACHIEVMENTS" and thus only obtainable once! so doing it again simply isn't possible. The same way you can get pet bettle achievments only once.

I finished the meta on my Hunter and only my Hunter has the tabard. Only the character that finishes it gets it.

Actually you can. Doesn't matter if it marked as account-wide. As soon as your (another) character finish last subachievement timestamp on meta will change (you have to relog) then you can get tabard from mailbox or tabard vendor.

(Tested with another account-wide meta).

I still don't know how this one is supposed to work. To be fair, I really need to post this on the official forum, but simply haven't gotten around to it (posting here at work while authenticator is at home...yeah, yeah, should get the phone version).

This is how it works:

1. You log onto your character who has the achievement as Alliance
2. All other alliance characters will be able to get it
3. All horde characters won't be able to get it

I do not know if this works obtaining it after 5.0. I obtained mine in WOTLK.

Not true, at least from my (anecdotal) experience. See the thread I linked in previous post.

- Obtained on horde shaman pre-5.0
- None of my other horde toons can get it; checked pvp vendors and tabard vendor
- Went to tabard vendor on Alliance warrior and was able to obtain it

I have exactly same thing. Obtained tabard on my horde druid, and can't get/buy it on any other horde character. But my worgen hunter could easily buy it from tabard vendor. Seems to be some weird bug.

So basically doing it on my Alliance rogue since it's my only Alliance char would be the best idea? Weird.

Not sure i have only one alliance character, and im kinda too lazy to make an alt and check it. But as i said i pvp purely on horde, and kinda found it randomly while checkin tabard vendor.

Almost makes me wonder if I faction changed one of my horde toons if I would be able to get the tabard...but damn, you're talking $50 bucks USD if you wanted to do that but come back to your current/primary faction. o.o

I like the tabards, but not that damn much.

All you do is talk to the Tabard Vendor in Org/Stormwind, by the guild rep vendor. You can buy the Tabard of the Achiever on alts from them too.

Haha, no, no it doesn't! It's the tabard I use on my Battlemaster Tauren. I would like it on another toon, but he earned it, so he's the only one i'll let wear it.
