How many email adresses do you have?

It has come to my attention lately that over the years I have collected quite some email adresses. So I wondered how many does the nerd of today has on average?

For me it's 5:
- an old hotmail: was already hacked once, I only use it for spam-things like facebook
- gmail: my normal email adress
- name@surname.me: my brother once made them for the whole family, though I almost never use it
- university 1: email each student gets
- university 2: email each worker gets

I used to have 5,

But now i have a -

Gaming email,
My apprenticeship/ work/ college email,
Personal/ social media email,
Online purchasing email.

All with passwords that are changed every 3 months (the passwords have a mix of capitals and numbers) Overall, im quite careful.

I'd rather have some of my eggs in different nests...

1 Old hotmail one. Was forced to make one at elementary school (like 4th grade). I used that from 1998 to 2008.
2 One current hotmail, only using for skype/msn IM's
3 Gmail - Made since beta.. my "official" one as it has my name instead of nick
4 One secret one - mostly used to discuss with people from random sites and sometimes registering with that so people cant backtrace it to facebook or anything like that

I have one email reserved for a few important channels. Such as between myself and work. My other email is for all the rest and is cursed with spam.

Personally I use one and that is just gmail.

What I do like a few people is add various +<word> to my gmail when signing up for stuff and then setup filters (firstsurname@gmail as primary and then use firstsurname+forumspam@gmail.com when setting up accounts).

How many emails do you have on your MSN account?

Last time I checked, I think I had around 12000.

i got like 6 for various things. mostly only use 3 of them though, and i have one that only has my wow account attached, never used it for anything else.

Mine got because my first guild's website got hacked (GM was bit derp and that way got all of our registered emails to spammers). It took while to realize that

University gave me 2, one for the entire university and one just for computer science, I also have firstnamelastname@gmail.com which is where both of those redirect to and an old hotmail that my gmail copies everything to as a backup. I rarely ever open it now, but I have some passwords and stuff (including my WoW account) on there so I keep it around

Let´s see:
1x hotmail account I don't use anymore. It was my very first and the name isn't really formal.
1x hotmail account that is my main account.
1x university account that I use for school stuff.
1x gmail account that I made for I don't know what.
1x hotmail account for WoW
1x hotmail account that I don't know for what I use it.

That means 6 email accounts afaik.

one work address specifically for me
three for three different sites I admin on
my main personal gaming one that I use for correspondence with gamers/register for sites I actually want to receive newsletters from etc.
my main (real name) one that I use for personal friends/family
a gmail account I use for stuff that's likely to collect spam.
