Don't forget, ppl with spectral tigers are to be kicked out as well. Anyone who thinks it's ok to acquire items in any game with cash has to be taught a lesson.

    Pathetic is still pathetic..
If ppl are being kicked.. that means that majority of the group kicked them. That means majority of that particular group disliked it so much that it pushed them to such actions.

This is a new level of low. ^^"""
I would prefer if players who kick others for such reasons would leave the game.
It would be better for everyone in the long run.

People in a group have every right to kick someone they disagree with.

All I can say about it is that I can well understand ppl for doing that. There are some very heated discussions going on and I think Blizzard just went totally overboard in implementing these items, their pricing and the fact that most players are now realising that in game micro transaction is soon to follow.

Right now I think there is a big majority of players that do not like WOW to have this ingame store on top of subscription. So Blizzard forcing these items in without actually having laid the ground for it - just backfired badly.

Personally - I think it can only be a good thing to see players flex their power in game like this. It will hopefully get the developers and the corporate minds actually thinking about the players before they decide to create a new business model for a game .... without even asking the players what they thought of it.
If you were on fire, flailing around, kicking and screaming and begging me for help my interest level would be about a 2 of 10.
So why in the world would I care about what kind of transmog some other player wears? I just don't get it. It's E-Hate.....and really really petty.
Why don't you organize a riot with all the other kids with nothing better to do in Stormwind. Are you guys freedom fighters? Your life mission is to make sure Blizzard doesn't make money? I don't get it. This is a video game, a video game. You hurt some other human over a video game...real tough guys.

Honestly if people want to give the company making my game more money, why would I complain about that? I'm sure a lot of that money will go to lining pockets but I'm also sure some of it will go back into dev time and resources to make WoW better. So long as they don't start asking me to give them more money then I don't have a problem

What lesson is that? You can't enjoy things that others dislike?
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored

I also hate the cosmetics items in Blizzard store, but that's not a reason for me to kick someone of a raid/guild/dungeon, it would be the same if i say "I hate your transmog and everytime i see you i feel disgusted/mad, so i will kick you..."

    I do not.
While I dislike the store-idea, kicking someone for buying something he thinks is pretty is just unnecessary and mean.
It would be like kicking me for being accompanied by the cinder kitten.

No everyone doesnt know that its done that way. because everyone isnt a vindictive callous petty hater. These people are spending time waiting to get on the LFR and LFG, they need to get badges and gear and because of how they choose to spend their money in a manner that in NO WAY affects ANYONE ELSE, they are getting kicked. Not for being jerks, not for afking, not for bad skills, not for anything that the kick system was intended for, but because of something that peoples panties are knoting up over so hard that surgeons are now specialising in its extraction as a very lucrative field.

i see someone at a buffet for a microsoft expo during using a windows phone 8, i disagree with microsoft's business practices concerning the new UI and etc, so when they reach the end of the queue and fill their plate, i reach out and smack it out of their hand onto the ground. Thats not a personal attack?

    this is terrible behavior.

It does not matter, Blizzard gives them the power to be able to kick people, what ever the reason is they can do it, and not get in trouble with it.

Your claim about LFR kicks is probably not true, so I'm not sure why anyone is concerned.

I guess it worked as a talking point, though.

For people saying that the guy is supporting Blizzard by having one of these helmets, that could be completely false. A player could be gifted one of these and before you say that its not likely, this very site is giving them away.

Should the person not wear the helmet even if they love the way it looks? Because some people don't like Blizzards approach on this?

That is absurd, and really just a pathetic way to get a point across. What gives anyone the right to treat someone poorly simply because they opted for a feature you are personally against? It is really just vile and honestly immature. Hate to break it to you but those helmets aren't hurting anyone. People are pissy this is a p2p game that has integrated some f2p features. Who cares. Don't assume the worst right away, and certainly don't punish people for it. This community has enough problems with treating one another respectfully, we don't need anymore bad behavior.

They already have items that you can purchase with real world dollars. Pets and mounts, no one seems to have an issue with that, and personally I don't see a difference. They have absolutely zero effect on gameplay. If anything pets could be considered more of a problem now that battles have been added. The pet with the highest power is a store bought pet....yet there is no complaining.

Lol, are they getting any real in-game advantage? Does it excuse abusing players? Because kicking them for this IS abuse and IS completely ridiculous. I have no intention of buying these helmets as they go with none of my transmog sets btw.

Really, this is an issue which has been blown WAY out of proportion.

And there were issues with people playing Pandaren being kicked in LFG/LFR. It will pass.

    So do I.

There are rarely enough people that care about others being afk to successfully kick them...I honestly doubt that there are enough people that care about store helmets that much.
