Depends. Some people just need the sensation of smoking, while others will need the nicotine high that comes with it without all the other garbage contained in cigarettes. Originally Posted by Joyful

It creates water vapor that you inhale, rather than smoke. There is nothing other than that, unless you have the nicotine ones and/or the flavored ones. Originally Posted by Joyful

Some people do quit smoking by chewing on toothpicks, or having a lollipop.
