Why is Nazgrim a giant in SoO?

I watched the nazgrim fight on the front page and noticed Nazgrim is like 5x the size of the player... what's up with that? Is he high on sha?

Raid bosses are ALWAYS bigger then the player. It makes it easier to target them. I mean think about how one would fight a Gnome raid boss if they were their regular size.

It's to make the boss... well, simply just more easily seen when he is being swarmed by 10-25 players.

These, the raid/dungeon bosses tend to be bigger just to make easier to target the boss, and to know what the hell are you attacking

go play gw2, they have normal sized bosses

it's a bitch sometimes to even see what you're aiming at, if there are 30 people you won't see it period

Go to darkmoon faire with 25 people and fight the darkmoon rabbit boss and you will find out.

In WoW power = size. Anyone who gets powerful grows in size!

    Nah, it's just targeting thing.

On the other hand, you have Archimonde, and the other Eredars and Demons.....

It has always been like this.

The better question is why are people still asking this question after all these years?

Simple, the Gnome uses a shrink ray on the players.

Wasn't Deathbringer Saurfang in ICC pretty much regular size, or am I remembering it wrong?

Character's size = directly proportional to their importance in the storyline.

Remember how gigantor Tirion was in Icecrown Citadel?

I agree for such a lovable badass why is it that he has the same look as as he did in cata?I would have liked a cool new look like Malkorok and he was here for less time than Nazgrim. But in truth Thok the bloodthursty had the same model as Oondasta until this last build.

2 Reasons why hes so big. The first is hes a Big Lore character, Blizzard Generally, like to make there lore characters bigger then regualr players, since they have more "Impact" On the world and such and 2 Hes a Boss in a raid, Mobs, and bosses are generally, bigger in raids, to make them seem more threatening.

Giganto-raidbossiloidosis: Its the affliction that affects those determined to be a raidboss, or have raidboss-like power. prominant example is is Tirion Fordring. his affliciton not only affected his size, but also his Ego. Making even more gigantic statues of himself all over the place.

it's not the size of the nazgrim, it's how you use it.
