I'm not sure if this has been asked and answered before, as I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the interviews and what not. But could connected realms finally allow us the chance to transfer our heirloom between the group of servers that are "connected"? I've wanted to know for a while and the question never showed up. Does anyone have any answers/information??

It was possible to do so on the PTR. I guess we'll know for sure tomorrow.

You can trade with people from the same connected realm as long as they have that special symbol ( # ) after their name. That should also mean that you could send heirlooms from let's say one realm to the other aslong as they are connected...I really hope this is the case (wouldn't make sense otherwise^^)
I am also not 100% sure whether connected realms will indeed start with the patch; they once said in an interview that connected realms will be pushed live some weeks later. (That was in an interview before the patch day got posponed from 27th of august to 10th of september).

Connected Realms will go Live a few weeks after 5.4 so far i read a while ago, So we won't know tomorrow =)

Strangely, Connected Realms is in the patch notes as of this morning (posted about 6:00 am Pacific, 9-10-13.) So I'm confused. Still, there's no details on what realms are connected to what other ones (the details goes back to a post from August) so... Originally Posted by Gimlix

I read in a (interview??) that connected realms WILL be in 5.4 but not right at the launch. Originally Posted by CDWarden
