Resto shaman 5.4 BiS list (on going work)

Hey guys,

i have been sitting and making a BiS for 5.4 with the part of trying to hit the haste cap : 15316

what i came out with till now is :



i dont know if you guys have any input or such

Good list and seems solid. I'd suggest maybe a second one with a focus on reaching the 7613 cap. Time will tell and I've been wrong a number of times but I think that sacrificing all those stats for 1 extra tick of Healing Rain isn't going to be worth it. I think a crit focused build after 7613 will be something to try.

Either way it's a good list and looks solid to me.

Nice list.

There has been some talks about dealing with 2 pieces of heroic fully upgrades t15 gear and 2 pieces of tier 16 gear as far as tier pieces go. The 2pc from t15 is quite nice with the new rushing stream talent and to be quite frank, the t16 4pc is fucking terrible. I've tested alot of bosses and the throughput on the SWG Spirit is pretty bad. Only works on HW GHW and HS, granted paired with Ascendence and alot of meta gem procs it isnt terrible but sure hard to beat the t15 2pc.

Not sure if going for the >15000 haste for one tick of HR is worth it but possibly. I think for 25man this may be a realistic best in slot list.
We'll see how it pans out.

i have been playing around with some numbers here is 1 go with 2x tier 16 and 2x tier 15 as Zaneosak was talking about

It maybe worth for 25man shamans to go for the extra HR tick, but losing so much crit probably wont be worth it for a 10man shaman.
I am not even sure if you got enough spirit to handle so much haste.

i think i will settle for ~9100 haste (HST tick + extra for latency), rest all out on crit.

i took the other belt for the fact of mastery but i have been reconsidering on changing out alot on the list but im not sure..

im after some clues on how to go with the set so if anyone got some please fire them away

Hia, So i really like what you've done. I agree with majority of it, I was concerned that you were going for a really high haste cap going off totemspot haste breakpoints for 5.4, seeing that since the HR would be kind of a waste but the riptide not such a bad idea @12,115 but I'm figuring you're going over because of latency?

My question is you counted in two heroic T16 pieces but you continue using Heroic T15. Why wouldn't you use an off tier heroic piece- such as Shoulderguards of Foul Streams for shoulder and the pants which i spent 20mins looking for and must have scrolled over it 100x times lol. But I'm assuming eventually the stats for off tier heroic pieces are going to over power the T15 heroic 2pc? Maybe not?

What i have heard is that 4 set tier 16 should be bad, but considering the new talent "Rushing Streams" it should give our outgoing abit.. but i have been considering abit on the 4 set but i wanna see some numbers before i will go more into it ..

i have been considering the 12,115 Haste break point and it seems like it might be a way to go .. i have been playing around on Askmrrobot to test out some diffrent stuff and gem ways.. and atm its just standing as how askmrrobot wants it as int/spirit gemmed (means we will have around 22k spirit just from gear and gems)
