Shaman class quest chain in WoD?

There will be a legendary questline again in WoD. The questline will be a little bit more custom to your class to help with the lack of class quests. Class quests are very resource intensive, so at most we might see one or two in WoD. (Maybe Shaman)

So, there is a good chance we will see a class chain for our class in WoD (like the warlock quest chain for green fire) . It makes sense since we are visiting a world full of shamanistic orc tribes.

Let's assume there is going to be such a quest chain, what kind of quest will it be? Which characters would be involved? What will be the rewards, etc?

I have a feeling it will involve Drek'thar, since he was the senior Frostwolf Shaman under Durotan's rule and possibly Thrall since he is around.

Rewards I am not so sure of, maybe a Frostwolf shaman transmog set? A weapon? A new spell or ability? A tanking talent tree?

Nope.. Unless Alliance and horde get different questlines. Why would I want my female draenei to look like a hordie?

Maybe Draenor Elementals? Give our Fire, Earth and Storm Elementals a different look? Maybe a new look for our totems? Red lightning? Enhancement being able to fight in Ghostwolf form? Hell, a Frostwolf ghostwolf?

Nope. Doesn't matter about alliance/horde. Besides Wildhammer dwarves(whose lore is already shaky) the only other race that started as Shaman were Orcs. Draenei learned it much later.

Nope. Doesn't matter about alliance/horde. Besides Wildhammer dwarves(whose lore is already shaky) the only other race that started as Shaman were Orcs. Draenei learned it much later.

Shamanism was extinct when the horde arrived on Azeroth (Drek'Thar became a warlock just as every other orc shaman). The reborn of orcish shamanism arrived with Thrall. Tauren and troll are way more "shamanistic" than orcs on Azeroth. Even draenei may be considered more shamanistic since they learned it on Draenor way before the orcs corruption.

So nope, lines are more blurred than you may think.

what if that's the shaman epic questline?

what if the reward is going blind too, and having to play with a black screen? lol

Well if they keep it in line with the Warlock green fire quest, whatever the quest gave wouldn't really affect gameplay, so new spells, talents and stuff like that are probably out of the question.

Maybe it will be (or at least I think it would be cool if it was this) that we'll get earth animations for our nature spells, since the intro video had that dwarf shaman magicing those rocks above his head. So So lighting bolt becomes a rock throw, but does all the same damage and stuff. Chain lighting becomes some type of rolly boulder or something, idk, but finally having earth spells would be cool

I'm not sure what the reward would be, best I've come with is different looking totems. That being said it would be amazing to have a quest where we visit each Orc clan and learn their ways of Shamanism.

I was really disappointed that we didn't get a glyph in MoP to make our elementals look like the pandaren elemental spirit thingies.

Sounds very promising. The last boss in the green fire chain was honestly the highlight of MoP for me, I would love something similar for my shaman.
