Well! This is my first computer build EVER! I have been using iMacs all my life and I finally decided to just go for it and build my own PC instead of relying on a non upgradable iMac. So, here are some pics of my first pc (and gaming) build in addition to the parts.

Processor: AMD 8320
MotherBoard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
GPU: EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked Edition (no idea if that actually means anything!)
Heatsink/Cooling: Cooler Master Seidon 120V
Power Supply: Corsair CX750M
Memory: 8 gigs of ram
Storage: 1 TB Seagate Barracude

Peripherals:
Mouse: Logitech g400 (my favorite mouse ever, if it dies I will cry)
Keyboard: Logitech g105]
Monitor: HP Pavilion 22bw (I actually prefer this over my old 27 inch iMacs screen, non glossy ftw).

So my Ducky Shine 3 arrived, it's pretty neat. (Cherry MX Blue)

Excellent build quality, the best I've seen so far; decently heavy too. (Only had experience with Corsair K70/90, CM Storm Quickfire Rapid, QPAD MK-85 & Thermaltake Meka G1 though)

Excuse the bad lighting, it's currently THAT time of the year where we're only getting about 3-4 hours of sunlight, and that's during my working hours.

First time I've ever really been happy about a mechanical keyboard purchase, it just oozes quality.

Big thanks to Webdanes.dk for hooking me up with one even though they didn't originally have it in their store. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have been able to get my hands on the Ducky keyboard with Cherry MX Blue

^ Nice I'm currently still using my Ducky Shine 2 and love but I will be upgrading to the Shine 3 here pretty soon.

NZXT Gamma, got it for like 20 bucks when its usually 50. I wanted all the fan slots (it has 6 of them!) Leave my beautiful case alone!

It's worth a read if you want to fix yours up.

that case is a dust heaven. i had it before.

Thanks so much! I def will have to get to doing that- enjoying the upgrade for now though, went from 1 FPS at highest settings in FFXIV:ARR to 70 with the new build... its so... nice!

All you need for cleaning dust is a compressed air can. Spray it, quickest and easiest way.

They sell them everywhere. In Australia they sell them at Officeworks, I'm sure they'll have them at
a similar shop where you live.

Small update to my build (signature for more) Asus 280X TOP.

Added, Asus 280x TOP, Asus Xonar DGX, LG IPS monitor, Sidewinder X4 Keyboard, new headphones, external storage.

I knew it was going to be bigger than my current 7850 but I was still slightly surprised of the size difference. Sorry for the picture quality but the cam isn't great and the lighting isn't either.

It's better to just put the name of your stuff instead of Newegg links, makes it easy for anyone to tell at a glance what your components are

Weird you went with i5 2400 instead of i5 2500K or i7 2600K...your motherboard is great for overclocking but sadly you won't be able to OC your chip, shame it's a pretty solid GPU as well (GTX770) that could use higher CPU clocks in modern games :S

Bleh, a black Prodigy would've gone better with...y'know...the black optical drive, monitor, black keyboard, black headphones, black mouse, black mousepad, black xbox, etc. I guess the white desk was enough :P

It's definitely a beautiful case on it's own though, and it's no small feat (no pun intended) building in it either

H100i is great. People don't go out and post when a product is working well, only when there's a problem and the chance is so small for anything to go wrong.

Long warranty and Corsair customer service is great. If the H100i has an issue and damages anything in your PC, corsair will replace it free of charge (y)

Yeah but it won't replace the other damaged part.
H100i is great, but it better be for that price; Personally I don't think it's work anywhere close that price premium for the benefit it gives. It's the best "just install it"* cooler you can buy, so of course there will be price premiums, but the steepness of requirements and its size is a turn-off.

* Since you can't actually buy the Swiftech H220

You don't really need a h100i for a haswell CPU. It doesn't produce allot of heat, so the premium price just seems wasted.
Overclocking it will cause it to heat up below the IHS before the H100i gets a chance to cool it. A single fan hydro or comparable aircooler will be more than sufficient.
