This is just not true. I am well above 50% win rate and never spent a dime. Hearthstone is a card game. All card games give you the option to buy other packs. The difference between Hearthstone and Magic the Gathering? In Hearthstone you start out with a crapload of cards for free and you earn more just by playing. After i was playing a few months, I actually thought Blizzard might be making a mistake for making it too easy for free players. I play frequently with 3 different heroes, and despite buying stuff from the store in WOW and from other f2p games ( stronghold kingdoms, DDO), I have never even been tempted to buy from hearthstone because I can do well without it.

Maybe the game is just too difficult for you?

Won 3 games, got the giddy up achievement and a thing saying i will get a hearthsteed. Log onto wow, no hearhsteed.

Spent two hours wading through matches in this p2w game. Got my three wins.. not mount //

haha. I spent about 15 minutes playing 5 matches, winning 3 to get my mount... never spent a dime on the game.

After this type of post, I seriously think WOW needs to have 1-button rotations for some players. Also, you do realize that probably 95% of the players you are seeing today downloaded the game today?

If I lose, the game sucks and is based on luck.

He might be onto something actually. I've been playing Hearthstone for months on and off successfully, then the patch came and I've lost 20 Casual Play games in a row. Before today I was winning every 2 out of 3 Casual Games. At this point I'm starting to suspect something changed in the code and its putting me up against the best of the best players because the decks I'm seeing could only be from very long term players and not one match has been against Jaina. Turtle, please Disapprove of whatever has happened to my luck!

This was supposed to be a reward for people who actually loved the Hearthstone and helped them test it during beta.

That black and red mount is most likely for some other purpose. The Hearthsteed is gray and blue because it's, as the trailer said, made from the same material as a hearthstone.

Papar - maybe the beta testers should have got their own mount, but it's not stupid overall.

No, I don't hate the game, but I never would have tried it without that little carrot dangling in front of me.

I got past Illidan (took a bit, and I think I just lucked out), and started playing Ranked (as per advice on here). I guess I played an hour or so for my three wins. Hey, it was even fun losing the first few games to another player. My winning though, was probably me against other grandmas, except for the guy who suddenly up and left.

At the very least, it'll be something amusing to derp around with if I don't feel like doing anything more in-depth than that. At least it only takes a few minutes to play a hand.

Got a question on this. In my case, I played Hearthstone and got the 3 wins. However, I'm currently unsubbed in WoW and I think that I won't likely be subbing again until something WoD related comes up. Will the email be sent to me by the time I log in? Or has it already been sent, meaning that I have to sub and log within a month in order to receive it?

you guys must be really bad at card games. i won my 3 games back to back then won 2 more in a row b4 i logged in to get my mount.

I won EVERY game I played against people at my own skill level, BUT I lost EVERY game against people with another char deck than Jaina starter shit pack.
I'm happy you had the LUCK to play against Jaina, but I didn't.
Oh and for the record, you can't be good at card games, it's 90% luck.
It's like saying "you suck at flip a coin"... -.-

Yeah cause there are no hearthstones in WoW itself. The mount is supposed to be designed after the hearthstone. Grey body with a blue light. But there is no Hearthstone on it. Thus making the horse look either scourge in nature from the blue light. Or a Mogu stone horse animated.
