Not surprised, really. Starfire hits absurdly hard, and with the amount of critical strike that Balance Druid's gear into (it's their best statistic) as well as the cooldowns, it all adds up to a scary amount of burst.
Its almost like nobody even tried to stop the moonkin from casting with every single one of his cd's popped, even though the dk was right on him in this video, and the hunter had los and everything in the other

Balance druid can never hardcast if melee enemy is good, only way to do damage is moonfire and starsurge.
Did you watch this video? The other team let him hardcast a starsurge+Starfire while a dk stood right on top of the moonkin not even attempting to kick..this had nothing to do with starsurge procs or anything. Not even sure what your comment is supposed to even mean, it does not apply to this topic at all O.o

blizzard does not care at the end of an expansion, they ignore most classes and unbalanced shit cause they are lazy, THEY DO NOT CARE.

I watched the video, and I saw what happened. My post was in reply to the person posting above me who was complaining that Balance as a specialization is bad and "underpowered" because it has to resort to using Moonfire, Sunfire and Starsurge instead of being allowed to cast.

It really is a horrible season. The scaling issues are starting to come out, and the outliers are really starting to become obvious.
This thread almost might give a newcomer the impression that boomkins are overpowered in arena.
Yeah, but with the interactions between Shooting Stars, and well, critical strike being overall a lot better in most PvP situations for a lot of classes (double damage and healing everyone?) it's kind of a double-dip for Balance, and why we see them healing so much considering they can reach upwards of 40% critical strike chance, while still hitting the 35.73% haste break-point in full Prideful.
