Is there a way to "Fast Cast" ground target spells in WOW?

Hey everyone. Does anyone know if there is a way to fast cast ground target spells in WoW? GW2 has this system where (two fast casting systems):

1. Your ground target spells will instantly cast as you press it.
2. Your ground highlight will show while the spell is pressed down and will cast immediately as you release.

Both reduce the number of clicks to 1 and works much better when you're a mouse runner (that way you don't have to let go of right click to cast the spell). Is there a way to do this in WOW via ingame options or an addon perhaps?

I never found laying down, say, Rain of Fire much of a hassle anyway. Just took some getting used to, having never dealt with ground target spells before.

It was less for AOE and more for quick-reaction stuff for PVP. Having a fast cast ground target for things like Freeze (mage elemental pet) would be hugely beneficial. If you use your mouse to turn with your camera (or especially mouse movement) having to left click just to place can be VERY hindering and clunky.

No, it's not possible to do that with a macro (or addon), and it wasn't possible at the time that was posted either. He may have been confusing it with something else.
