Why did they remove heirloom vendor? What the hell is going on?

It doesn't really matter for me since I already bought most of the heirlooms for JP but I really don't understand why did they remove heirloom vendor?

If I recall correctly, they've said that all of the heirlooms will be purchased by gold (since JP is removed) so what happened to that?

If you didn't buy heirlooms for JP then you're literally screwed right now.

They didn't want people getting used to buying Heirlooms with gold only for the method of obtaining them to change again in an upcoming patch when they introduce their new Heirloom system.

Anyway, it depends how long till it comes back.. because if it's anything after 6.0.3 then it's a blantant removal problem. "buy our 90s" especially because leveling is actually challenging again (not complaining about that)

It is supposed to be a reward for either getting to end game, getting tickets at the darkmoon or being in a guild that achieved the heirlooms that you could buy, not for buying it all in gold at any level. Since JP is gone there will be another way to achieve them later, you just have to wait a month. Of all the heirlooms only the most recent heirlooms were removed, which includes offhands and a healing shield. All the rest you can get at the darkmoon faire.

They also said the newer heirlooms (off-hand/shields) were moved to a diff vendor, dont remember which one, because it was plausible that these hadnt been available long enough to be reasonably acquired.

Removing the loom vendor affects bugger all people, not that many are still leveling 1-80/85 and most people already have looms. And current looms don't work 85-90 so the two are totally disconnected anyway.

It's just a side effect of removing JP. They'll be back. Relax.

This is bullshit. They are going to let you buy heirlooms with gold instead of having to grind dungeons/battelgrounds to get them. How is that not making leveling easy?
