Even then there are restrictions on which ones the BMAH will carry. Like you can get the 10 man Naxx meta mount, but not the 25 man one.

Considering that probably 95% of Blizzard Employees play WoW. I'm sure a lot of them come to MMO. They are smart and usually listen to what the players say.

In fact, imo the bmah should have unobtainable items exclusively. Nothing current, nothing upcoming.

So much this. No forthcoming raid gear. And please, for the love of God, make the Argent Dawn tabard available through the BMAH. My paladin wants this vanity piece more than any other in-game item. <3

There's an idea....
I have completely screwed up on the AD tabard. It's my own fault.
Back then, I was simply not interested in things like that. Consider how every shit cluttered ones bag space. Every single mount was a bag slot, every pet, everything vanity I hated like the plague for that matter. Needless to say, a tabard? Fuck that... I am not gonna get it.
Made me miss the AD tabard and the one from the Olympics.
Would be nice to have a chance to either get it with some sort of "penalty grind" for those eligible, or well.. bmah lol

I would say quite the opposite: Please remove the rare mounts from the old raids so aquiring them would still mean something if someone gets them for a lot of gold or even gold cap.

I don't think it was ever intended that you can just walk in ICC faceroll everything within 10 min max and then get a chance for Invincible or for any other mount at that. Gold capping such a mount on the other hand represents rather closely the amount of effort that was required originally to get it.

Plus I am sure people would be very much happier if 5-10 mounts in game remained special. Just being exact copy of someone else is as bad as the cliche snowflake argument.

Yeah, with RNG being RNG, getting mounts like Invincible will take months and sometimes years of weekly clears to get. The 1% drop rate for those mounts is just fine like it is. Hell it took me 6 years of farming on 4 toons just to get the Horseman's Reins. Not a raid mount, but RNG can require a lot more work than just paying gold for something instead.

If anything, they should remove current expansion stuff from the BMAH - so that it is solely for Legacy/vanity items.

Also, OP: If they were to remove retired mounts, they would also have to remove unobtainable gear (like T3) and TCG items. Which would take away a lot its initial purpose.

Highly agreed. Its very silly to get un-obtainable gear from yet to be released content without even completing the content.

The game has almost no effective gold sinks. BMAH is one of the few features that enable the ultra-dedicated players to dump massive amounts of gold on something most other players do not care about (without dumping that gold into someone else's pocket).
Why would you EVER want to limit the effectiveness of this?

The game is flooding with gold, if anything, Blizzard should spend their time adding MORE gold-sinks not remove them.

The only consequence of these unobtainable items being on BMAH is that some players feel rear-hurt that they are no longer special snowflakes.

I played on-n-off since beta. Over the years I have accumulated plenty of items that are now coveted. And the only effort it took for most of them was to to be online and do current content and sometimes a little RNG luck. For example: zulian tiger, it actually dropped pretty frequently. In a 20man raid it was hard to get, but it was a joke to solo the boss at lvl80. Most players managed to get one back then if they really wanted to. The biggest thing was that mounts were not account-wide, so if you took an alt in to farm, you ended up with a rare mount on a character you never played, which kept many players from doing serious farming.
