Yes
Works for quote and @
Doesn't pop up notify like with messages.
NOT IMPRESSED @MMO-Champion
Yes, tell chaud to do more work. I see no flaws with this plan. All he does is sit around anyway, with templates.
I'm surprised to see this function though. And I dont know whether to assume it is done or needs tweaking. All added functionality I've seen added in mmoc so far has needed some additional work, so might be good offering the feedback.
@Remilia
We have one of those silly "speed tests":
Judging by this video the 8890 can open apps faster
And its battery life is apparently better too judging by reports and those benchmarks
Guess I was right about big.LITTE still giving better efficiency, the SD820 still has a better GPU though performance-wise. 9 hours SoT with default kernel and white as fuck theme is simply insane.
They can use 66% of the subpixels and market it as the same resolution, it's cheaper to make so it's expected =|
And to be fair, PenTile with ridiculously high DPIs isn't that bad, it should even give better diagonal lines.
Well, with ridiculously high DPIs. Dad recently bought a Samsung Tab S2 8" with a 2048x1536 PenTile display and I can honestly see the empty black spaces between subpixels if I look at it very closely. But from a normal viewing distance it looks okay. 9.7" model has a normal RGB layout, damn you Samsung.
Yeah... but these are VR devices is the thing. It's 2160x1200, sure it wouldn't be too bad if they weren't just a few inches from your face. AT Ryan Smith already noted that the spaces can be obvious and already pointed out Pentile. VR imo really needs those extra sub-pixels. If you're selling it at $600/800, cheapening out on the biggest component is dumb.
That's what I told at that Oculus rift thread, the screen is literally where everything comes from in this current model and the entire experience depends on it. But I guess they had to choose between higher res and RGB stripe or higher refresh rate and low-persistent displays, or save those features together for the next VR headset next year
